I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—close to everything you need and very convenient for exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service at the front desk. Maryna was absolutely the best! She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Her warm and professional attitude made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Had booked this place after having a bad experience with an Airbnb and was blown away by how nice the rooms were. It’s in a great area of Chicago and very close to public transit. I did have a little tiff with the bathrooms shower not working properly, but Zoe at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating towards my situation. She upgraded my room for the remainder of my stay and I can’t thank her and the staff enough.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing on multiple levels. First and foremost, one of our guests became seriously ill after drinking water from the bathroom sink, which is alarming given that Chicago’s water is generally considered safe. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The rooms were cramped, with barely enough space to move around, and we noticed that cleanliness was not up to standard. Dust was caked on the vents. The room also had no real closet and only a few hangers. Our shower products were also discovered to be empty. The hotel lobby was underwhelming, with a small area that included a so-called “bar” where no staff were ever present. To top it off, there was an alarm going off for the entirety of our two-day stay, creating a constant nuisance. Overall, the experience was far from what we expected, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is in a great location for a great price, but there are many alternatives for just a bit more.

I requested no-down bedding and they had it ready for me. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was new with a rainfall shower head and plenty of hot water. One staff member, Marynas Kassidy was wonderfully helpful and she made excellent drinks at the downstairs bar. The location, right downtown, was close to everything a tourist would want to do! The view from the window was pretty, especially at night. The set up was different in that there was no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker in the room and the tv is very difficult to use. There is always coffee and tea in the lobby. One has to ask for breakfast items as it is not laid out in the morning and only the orange juice is complimentary. The over-priced pastries were inedible, they were so stale. There is not an in-house restaurant which would be nice for a single person. Honestly, I will not stay here on my next trip to Chicago.

It’s all facade, the rooms are dirty, just look close. Stains in the shower grout, wallpaper, everywhere. The first room they put me in was so dirty and it was a conjoining room and the person next door was blasting music so I asked to change rooms. The second room was much cleaner and quiet but the remote didn’t work or my phone didn’t work. A huge bummer. On the last night there (I stayed 3 nights) I woke up for an early flight and my shower was flooded with water that came up from the drain. I wasn’t able to shower before the airport and all they offered me was a service refund of $70. The woman on the phone wasn’t even empathetic or anything. I will never stay here again!!! The bed was so cheap and bouncy, the sheets were super thin, I had to turn my heat all the way up every night. The lights in room halfway worked and terrible white lighting. Honestly the only thing good about this place was the location and how accessible it was. Save your money though it’s all bad here!

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Felix for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as my first visit. The reason I chose to return is simple: the exceptional customer service. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and felt completely at home. A special shoutout goes to Sasha and Niki, whose kindness and professionalism truly stand out. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, attending to every detail with a smile and genuine care. It’s rare to find such dedicated and personable staff, and they are undoubtedly a credit to the hotel!

Check in was super easy. Maryna at the front desk is a delight. Very helpful and accommodating. Room is nice, even if a little tight. Super comfy bed. Would recommend to anyone looking for boutique vibes at really affordable prices. Street parking is cheaper than valet but beware the meter maid

Loved this hotel, staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. Located just a few blocks from out destination and the walk was comfortable. Dining near by was also easily accessible by walking. Will definitely be staying again.
