This was my 3rd stay at Hampton Inn Chicago North Loyola station and it was as excellent as my 2 previous stays. The owner/GM of this hotel apparently know exactly what they are doing - they have wisely invested in hiring the right employees to represent the hotel. Every worker here, from the friendly front desk to those diligently checking on the food trays over breakfast and to those keeping the property sparkly clean, are excellent and take pride in what they do.||The reception area has a lovely homey ambience (gas fireplace included!) and the 24/7 dispensers of water and coffee station are a simple yet hospitable feature that are welcome after a long day walking/touring around.||This time, we had a room with a view I wasn't particularly fond of - a rooftop/parking lot and the L-train in the background. Initially I tried to switch rooms but the hotel was sold out, otherwise I'm sure the front desk would have accommodated my request. Surprisingly, the L-train proximity was NOT an issue at all - I was worried I would not be able to sleep but it was not noisy at all and the windows are all sound proofed. And over time, I got used to the view too so not a big deal at all.||The shower has a bit of an interesting set-up as this is the first hotel in all my travels in 70+ countries that had the shower spout on the opposite wall as the controls. I thought that was a brilliant design as you can test out the water temperature easily without getting sprayed all over! Bathroom also has a fan which greatly helps with the usual foggy mirrors from non-vented bathrooms. I personally found the sleeping room space well designed with maximum efficiency with their placement of outlets, pull out trays, pull out storage units, etc. Kudos to the design team.||I've stayed at many luxury branded properties (Four Seasons, Kempinski, etc.) and the staff at this particular Hampton Inn matches the friendliness of 5 star properties and without any pretention. I love the genuine sincerity of these workers who make me feel like I'm welcomed back and a valued guest.||Shout out to the lovely Mr. Carlos and Ms. Reena who always make me feel like this is my home away from home. Hope to be back soon.

The Hampton Inn Loyola Station gave us the most wonderful stay! Our family came from all over the country for our son's wedding and stayed here. The rooms impeccably clean and comfortable, the lobby inviting with ample seating and warm fireplace, the breakfast fare was hot, healthy, delicious. But beyond all this goodness was the AWESOME staff, who were ALWAYS helpful, accommodating, friendly, welcoming, and warm. The Hampton Inn Loyola Station has a great amenities, AND staff who make you feel welcome, valued, appreciated, and treat you like family. A HAPPPY STAY!

All-around excellent stay. Extremely clean, pleasantly quiet, excellent breakfast, great workout room and wonderfully pleasant and helpful front desk staff (especially Claire and Jeremy). I appreciate that breakfast is open till 10 am and checkout is 12 pm -- that extra hour makes a big difference for me. This Hampton Inn reminds me of boutique hotels in Europe with its expansive lobby and breakfast area and being made to feel so welcome. Definitely not your typical Hampton Inn (which is never bad -- just saying this location is far above and beyond). Excellent choice at this price point and I've already booked another stay.

Our recent experience was enhanced by Carlos on the Front Desk. He is the consumate professional. Other staff were all friendly and helpful. The co.plimentary breakfast was enjoyable with a spacious eating area and lounge. Easy access to the local metro at Loyola Station. Other nice feature is a rooftop seating area with decent views.

Friday night, quick one night stay Checked-in using the app & digital key. Valet car parking service was great. Room was very clean and setup. In the evening asked the front desk attendant for directions to a nearby location. Not sure if the hotel bar was open but she did not mention it as an alternative (I did not see it and did not ask about it). Breakfast had a good selection and opened at 6am on a Saturday so we could leave as early as we had planned with breakfast. #Recommended #VickieTravelz

Stayed for two nights for a wedding and almost everything was great here. The room was great, complimentary breakfast was really good (I've never been to a hotel with good breakfast) and I really liked that there was so many other things like food, groceries, public transport and probably other stuff I'm not even aware of. My only complaints are that the soap and such that came in the room was terrible and towards the end of our stay the toilet in our room clogged and we had no plunger to take care of it. Otherwise it was fantastic
