The Plainfield Inn

We stayed at the Plainfield Inn for our wedding at the Sanctuary and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Booking the entire S Building was definitely the right move—each room was clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and having a private bathroom in every room was such a nice touch. Our guests loved it just as much as we did. The staff was kind and welcoming, and Justin was especially fantastic to work with—helpful, responsive, and easygoing throughout the process. The only thing that could’ve made it even better would be a full-sized kitchen fridge, but everything else was truly perfect!

I love this quaint hotel. It's super clean, great linens and very comfortable bed. The owner is so kind and willing to help with any request. The location is great for events in Plainfield and can walk to the downtown area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful in downtown Plainfield!! The location is perfect to all of the amenities downtown Plainfield has to offer ! The design is elegant& clean. Communication was great. Highly recommend staying here!

The location was excellent! I like the key code entry. It’s simple and convenient! The only negative was the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty, so I had to go out and buy some. I usually bring it but it stated that it was provided. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable! It is a lovely place! I will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Plainfield Inn! Justin and his staff communicated very well, and were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. There are lots of great places to eat and explore within walking distance of the inn. We stayed here for business, and would absolutely book here again. Communication was great, and we would recommend that you stay here if you are visiting Plainfield!

Justin was awesome! I rolled in late with no reservation and Justin was kind enough to get me sorted for the night. We ended up chatting about vintage motorcycles, and Justin had great dinner/breakfast advice. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and very cute! I ended up eating at the Clifton for dinner which was less than a minutes walk away, and Southern Belle for breakfast which was a ~5 min walk.

This inn is wonderful. It is beautifully decorated with great attention to keeping it as authentic possible. The room was cozy and well equipped with a refrigerator and keurig coffee maker. The location can’t be beat as it is right in the middle of the most charming town with tons of restaurants and shops. The bathroom had large soft towels and beekman skin products.||You can’t go wrong staying here.

This place is amazing! We booked the entire south building for the night before and after our wedding. I loved how it felt like a house, but also a hotel at the same time. Each room having its own bathroom is a HUGE plus with getting ready! Each bridesmaid had their own room and my husband and I stayed in the Ingersoll suite, which had a king size bed, private patio, and a couch. The kitchen is spacious with a stove, microwave, and ice machine (!!!) which was so nice to have in the morning as we got ready. The kitchen area had huge windows which helped for makeup and the entrance area had a huge mirror which helped with hair. The building is old, but by the renovations, you would NEVER guess. It was so clean. It had the charm we wanted and the getting ready photos turned out beautiful!! My husband and I are local to Plainfield, but we said we want to come back next summer to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Justin and your staff for everything!
