Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront

Surprised at the original architecture of the manufacturing building and spacious rooms. High ceilings from the original factory, exposed concrete and brick, wood block floors in public areas, decor with an “industrial” vibe, and cool QR codes to learn about the building’s history. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot and there was plenty to choose from for a weekday. Our very clean room had a view of the city, the landscape beyond, and the Rock River through huge floor to ceiling windows. Great sitting areas in the room and throughout the hotel. Nice, modern shower. The welcome reception was a great option to relax in the early evening, with complimentary cocktails and snacks. Very interesting lobby art and open space. Great location; walking distance to the Coronado theater.

I've stayed here before and it was a great hotel, very much loved it. I'm here to talk about the breakfast. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Service from their amazingly polite team is superb. I forgot my room number, but they helped me out. They got me some amazing potatoes and scramble eggs. Thank you so much y'all!

We were visiting the area for a kids birthday party. Went to the AMC theater about 20 minutes away. Went to Chili’s for dinner about 10 minutes away. Then everyone went for a swim. Kids can swim until 10pm, then it’s adults only after that. There’s a game room, rooftop dining and view overlooking the river and city, and a restaurant in the lower level. There were 6 of us so we gave the two room queen suite a chance. It was only $180 US dollars on booking.com, about 210 after fees and stuff. The pictures online didn’t show much so I took some of my own. The hotel is very clean, nicely updated and spacious, and the complementary breakfast is hands down the best free hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! It was well worth the money. We’ve paid twice as much and got half the joy. What a wonderful hotel 😍. There looked to be many things to do within walking distance too, we just had everything planned in advance.

The front desk staff were efficient and supportive and managed to get us an early check-in on a very busy day. Breakfast staff were attentive and helpful, very cheerful and welcoming. They handled the crowd with ease. On site restaurants were open late. Parking was easy. Loading and unloading were easily manageable. The building is beautiful and there are QR codes you can scan to read about various spaces in the building. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

The hotel offers a unique blend of industrial warehouse aesthetics and thoughtful, modern design. I was particularly impressed with how they’ve managed to incorporate elements of the past into a contemporary setting. What truly stood out, however, was the service, especially from two exceptional team members at the ground-level restaurant and bar. Michelle provided top-notch customer service with patience and attentiveness. She took my food order and checked in during the meal at perfectly timed intervals, making the dining experience both relaxing and enjoyable with her friendly demeanor. Angela, the bartender, was equally impressive. She managed the spacious bar with remarkable efficiency, seamlessly attending to guests on all three sides. Her helpfulness and ability to maintain a warm, approachable attitude made a lasting impression. Both Michelle and Angela elevated my experience and are great assets to the hotel.

I love Embassy Suites I really recommend coming here to have a family getaway! The pool is very nice and clean and very fun perfect and perfect for kids to splash and play! The food there is ''AWESOME'' I'll tell you that! The beds are comfortable, TV is working absolutely fine and this Hotel is just beautiful and highly recommended for a getaway or a vacation!!!

Hotel room not as pictured on website, and it already a bit dated for being only 4 yrs old. I am giving 2 stars for the front desks attempt at a high level of customer service. Upon arrival we had complaints of the upkeep of the shower, the front desk staff was very attentive and went above and beyond by checking other available rooms, and switching us to a room with a nice shower space. However, on the flip side, when checking out, I noticed an erroneous dining charge added to the invoice. We had drinks at the rooftop bar (which was nice), but we paid by credit card, therefore there should have been no charge added to the room. When I called to report this, the person who answered captured all the info and told me she would call me back after investigating on their end. I never received a call back. I called back the next day (and was told I was speaking to a manager) - she was very dismissive to the issue but confirmed that the issue was on their end and she would reverse the charge off the final bill. Also, housekeeping services were poor. Day one they cleaned and didn't event empty out all the trash bins. I called the front desk to report this and ask that they do this moving forward. Again, front desk seemed to not care. The overall experience was not worth the price tag!

while my experience was not terrible, it certainly did not meet the four-star service I was expecting. I wanted to bring a few issues to your attention in hopes of seeing improvements and perhaps an opportunity to give your hotel another chance under better circumstances.||Upon arrival, the front desk staff was more engaged in their own conversation than in assisting me. I understand that staff members communicate throughout their shifts, but as a guest, I would have appreciated being acknowledged promptly rather than waiting for them to finish their discussion before addressing me.||Additionally, when I requested a blanket for the pull-out sofa bed, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The front desk staff member seemed inconvenienced by my request and only after a 20-minute wait did she return, attempting to persuade me to use a blanket from the closet instead. I felt uncomfortable insisting further, so we went without the additional blanket that night.||Another issue was the room's towel supply. Despite booking a room specifically for six adults, we were only provided with two bath towels. This was far from ideal, and we had to make do with what was available.||While I wouldn’t say my stay was entirely unpleasant, it certainly fell short of expectations. I had high hopes when I booked the largest room available for my group, and I was assured we would have a great stay. ||
