Holiday Inn Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont, an IHG Hotel

The service was amazing. They were accommodating. The lobby and restaurant/bar area was beautiful which made me excited that I had chosen Holiday Inn as my stay during my flight delay. But then I walked in the room to stained carpet, dingy old looking white blanket and sheets and a stained shower curtain with an outdated tub. The neighbors had music playing and were shouting at each other. The walks were so thin, I could hear it well. If I wasn't already so exhausted, I would have did an about face and checked out. The room rate was high and it's close to the airport, fully booked so not sure why money isn't being invested into the rooms to keep them up to date and to match the industry. The beds were comfortable but I just felt icky because of the stains and dingy feel. I had planned on a late check out because I was stuck until that evening due to a flight delay but didn't feel comfy in the room. So I checked out and explored the city instead which turned out great. I don't know if all the Holiday Inns are like this but it made me not want to choose them again during my travels. Again, the staff was amazing though so if you don't mind outdated rooms, then you would be happy with this place. I just feel for the value and the beautiful lobby, that the hotel should invest more into their rooms.

I chose this place as a overnight getaway for my birthday. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and spacious. There's a mini refrigerator and coffeemaker provided. I do recommend that you bring your own personal items; soap, lotion and etc. Luckily we always come prepared. They also have a restaurant and and a coffee shop located in the lobby. Overall, I do wish we could have stayed another day. We will definitely revisit soon!!

Windows were dirty. Carpet was dingy, bathtub had fuzzy all over, mattress was very worn out, no microwave. The downstairs was not bad. No breakfast included. Stay bridge is attached and included breakfast but not the holiday in(for the same price). Staff were nice. Hallways were very clean. It was just the room. Very out dated for the price.

I stayed at this hotel while attending the Andrea Bocelli concert and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were updated, clean, and well-maintained. Noise levels were minimal, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The front desk staff was both helpful and courteous, providing excellent service throughout my visit. An added convenience was the availability of an airport shuttle. The on-site restaurant is somewhat pricey, but offers a decent selection for those who prefer not to venture out. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay at this establishment again in the future.

We had an unexpected stay at this hotel when our flight was canceled. We had a rough few hours until we got to the hotel. Kahan was very helpful and courteous over the phone, even though he was obviously taking a lot of midnight bookings due to several flights being canceled. He was a welcoming figure after an ordeal we had at another Holiday Inn (which will be relayed separately to IHG). The following morning, the coffee shop did not open in time, so Kahan let us into the adjacent dining room. The hotel looked very nice and the room was very comfortable for our brief stay. My only complaint is that the sliding doors for the bathroom are very heavy and hard to move. We took the shuttle to the airport and were back on track for our getaway.

We had an overnight stay in Chicago after an international flight. I booked the motel since we are IHG members and the airport shuttle ran every 30 minutes 24 hours a day. The shuttle experience was great and the front desk check in and check out was excellent. Staff members were friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and clean. The TV remote was rather confusing, but we basically just needed the room to shower and sleep before catching the shuttle for an early morning flight. We did not get to experience the restaurant dining. We were very impressed with this Holiday Inn and won't hesitate to use it again if the opportunity arises.

The hotel is very nice, it appears to have been remodeled not too long ago. There is a very large restaurant with excellent food and a smaller Deli or coffee shop looking area. At check-in, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful. The room is actually bigger and better than I expected, it is very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back.
