Days Inn by Wyndham Ames

Had an amazing one night stay in a beautiful room with a very comfy king-size bed. Everything was very clean and well kept. The gentleman who helped us was very wonderful. We enjoyed our conversation with them during breakfast, which breakfast by the way, was very good. We will be back in the area this spring and absolutely will be staying here again. Honestly, though, it's located in a really great spot, close to the highway and a bunch of restaurants. For the price we paid, it's a very fair price.

For the money - it was good. Rooms are clean and good sized!! The Bed slept good!! The man on check in was not friendly - very "business" took our info and that's it. No smell - which is huge for me! Can tell it's definitely a non smoking hotel - which is a big PLUS for us!! Will stay here again if in the area.

I really enjoyed staying here. only 3 things of note: 1) the heat/air fan was broken in our room. We should have called the front desk, but we didnt. That is our fault for not letting them know. Perhaps they could have moved our room 2) wifi signal was weak. It kept disconnecting us. 3) the breakfast was really bad. It is basically just bread, muffins, waffles and yogert... so I hope you like bread for breakfast. overall it was fine. Above average for an inexpensive room.

I booked two rooms for two nights and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the accommodations. The bedding sets when we arrived along with several of the replacement sheets and blankets all had various stains and marks ranging from burns to what appeared to be blood. On bringing up the state of the bedding, we were given replacement bedding that also had various levels of staining. One of the rooms had laughably low water pressure in the shower, occasionally barely having any flow at all. The breakfast was poor in terms of quality and choice and appeared to be the same items simply left out from previous days. The individual behind the desk was nice, though checking in took quite a while due to slow equipment. Housekeeping did not replace missing sheets the next day when they replaced towels.

Positive: The room was newly renovated, very clean and nicely furnished. Negative: The breakfast area was a bit untidy, and did not have the same clean and renovated appearance as the rooms. The food was good, but the room itself seemed like an afterthought.

The room was clean and modern. The room had a nice local canvas print on the wall vs a generic piece of artwork. The furniture was modern and well thought out. The room had several plugin possibilities to charge your phone and/or use a laptop. The mattress was much better than mattresses at other cheap national chains. Made for a nice nights sleep.

I was nervous because I booked the room before I read the reviews. Luckily everything was good and if I hadn't read the reviews, it wouldn't even have occurred to me that something could be wrong. It was very quiet. It was clean, maybe not the newest but fine. Looks like the rooms were renovated. One star off for Continental breakfast instead of full breakfast. It's not fancy but quite serviceable.

The exterior of the building was overflowing with trash and the parking lot covered in glass. ||The interior of the building had overflowing trash. The guest room itself was decent but all Public Areas were unsanitary. There were bugs flying all over in the hallway due to the excessive amount of trash and a dirty mop bucket in the hallway. Rooms were left open, and the laundry facility/cleaning closet was left open. Also unsanitary. ||The kitchenette area for breakfast was covered in film with one tray of muffins. ||My card was authorized an additional 3 times. When I went to the speak to someone at check-out there was no staff to found in the building. I walked each floor, the exterior, called the number multiple times, and even went behind the desk and knocked on the office door. When I called again later in the day I was told "we are busy." An embarrassment to the Wyndham Brand and should have their flag taken.
