Very affordable, clean, well kept up, and the staff were helpful. Felt safe here. Walls are thin, and the motel was fairly busy. Would stay here again! Highly recommend.

Best motel in des Moines. Greatest prices and sausage eggs biscuits,cereal bagels fresh fruit 7 days a week! Ot has been remodeled and now it's a classy place.the maids are sweethearts! The manager Mike is a professional,courteous and competent he knows how to run this business. Shawn and Lucas excellent in manners and customer service 5 star all the way

Location is the best part, near the malls and all of the restaurants. Also close to the airport. However, the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Had a pet room because I have a French bulldog. A very clean.. French bulldog. I didn’t even like my dog sleeping in this room or touching the floor. Yes, I get it. It’s a pet room but that’s absurd. Shame on housekeeping because I know for a fact you wouldn’t live in something so nasty. The floors had dried pee, the hallways stink so bad like cat litter, definitely got someone with cats in here. Dog hair all over everything. Again, pet room. I get it, but this was ridiculous. The safety latch on the door is broken. Just nasty hotel.

This is an older motel that has undergone minor renovations, just enough to make it look appealing. Google shows prices way lower than what we were charged. But maybe because of the adjoining rooms or a weekend rate? Our rooms were clean, except the bath fan which was very dirty. Pillows were too thick and heavy with no variety so I ended up with a headache and poor sleep. Bathroom was small but vanity was outside of it so that helped. AC did not work in one room. Second room AC had a bad rattle that kept me awake. The continental breakfast was a good selection with waffles, eggs and sausage. Desk staff was friendly.

Stayed there 9/17/24, when I got there I parked in the front noticed a dude crashed out in his car. Then later at 1am an argument broke out. 2am went out to go smoke. Tried to go down the stairwell outside to have a cigarette found a homeless dude sleeping in the stairwell. Went and told the front desk agent. He didn’t kick him out. 8am woke up went to the same stairwell the guy was still there asleep. The breakfast is not as advertised. They had muffins, juice, and coffee. Other issue my mini fridge was so loud I just unplugged it and did not use it. This place was a dump. Read the reviews and comments on other travel sites. The back parking lot was full of trash. The dumpster area was packed full of old mattresses and box springs. My advice do not stay here! They would not even give any of the money back even with the unsafe place. I realize it was a cheap hotel. But at least deliver the standard customer service that people pay for!

The morning lady is bitter rude and racist. We were regulars for over 2 months no issue. Until she Accused me and my husband of pulling the fire alarm, which had been malfunctioning all morning since 2 am. She quote on quote said "I don't like people like you". Then kept our 200 bucks and said she would call the police if we did not leave. Refused to show any proof it was us that pulled the fire alarm. The evening gentleman that check you in do have manners. But this lady needs fired, how are you racist, rude and working in the line of business she does? It is completely unprofessional and inappropriate.

Positive: Price, but that's it. Negative: Omgoodness this place is like a episode of television. Yelling and screaming. Police every night. People sleeping in the stairways. Breakfast, 5 people loading plates of sausage and eggs. place smells horrible.

Overall, it's a great hot tub room for the value! This is an older hotel that has undergone minor renovation. Our room and sheets were clean, but the floor needed a good mopping. The value of the room tempered amenities and expectations, and overall, we rate it 5 stars for a great staff.
