Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines Airport

Having traveled nearly 3 million miles, I just realized I've left far too little reviews. This year that will change. This hotel is very conveniently located just off the airport grounds without any air traffic noise. There are alternate hotels across from the airport yet if price is your concern, this hotel beats them all. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. My room was exceptionally clean. The only reason the rating is a 4 and not a 5 was a couple of things. I'm a stickler to the quality of towels. Ragged towels with holes don't cut it with me. Additionally, the aquatic facility should offer larger bath sheets in the pool area. Additionally, the shower head needs to be upgraded as well as the bath facet. This hotel is also a truckers paradise and there is a large parking area next to the hotel to accommodate the trucks. This comment is in no way meant to be derogatory as America would starve without our drivers. Overall I do recommend this hotel for its staff, cleanliness, pricing, location and aquatic facilities.

We went on a business trip and paid with our points. It was not near the conference center but I'm so glad we picked this hotel. The other reviews are correct. It is a great place to stay and wind down. We loved the breakfast in the morning with all the options. Everyone was so nice. The pool and hot tub were great.

Five stars all the way around ! My family of 3 kids and significant other and myself got a king suite for less than $180 for the night which in itself is CRAZY ..We had two mini fridges , two microwaves , a living room area with pullout bed , alot of other seating and a dinging table to fit 6 ! It was great . Then the pool was awesome not only that but the Jacuzzi actually worked ! They have a shower and sauna also in the pool area .. all you can eat breakfast in the morning .. I could go on and on but all in all this was one of the best stays I've had in a LONG time . Highly recommend! P.s they also have elevators so it's easy with luggage to move from floor to floor !

Please be aware of changes in price they tell and the price they take from your card, I booked a room for the price of $107 plus tax that comes $135. But when I left the state, I checked they took $151.20/. When I called them they told me the 135 was before tax, but it was totally wrong and they asked about a confirmation email if they sent me, but they did not sent me any confirmation email- they just told me a confirmation number when I booked, and she start to yell on me when I wanted to talk on issue by the phone- and totally she said you can sue us. It was my 3rd room with them and the last one.

I booked three rooms for my daughter's birthday with family. The rooms were very neat and clean. The facilities were clean and in good repair. The pool area was clean. This facility is owned by TMC trucking which uses it for it's training and to house it's employees and trainees.

We stopped to spend the night on a roadtrip and were blown away by this place! Extremely clean & comfortable rooms and the breakfast! OMG! They didn't miss a thing and all was fresh and delicious! Wish we could've checked out the pool and workout room but maybe next time!

A few miles off our route but worth It. Rooms were great. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Although we were moving through and couldn't use them, there's a sunroom and recreation room as well as fitness and indoor pool. I would stay again.

Perfect stay! The ladies at the front were super nice, complimentary water and coffee, beautiful pool and spa, and best shower and sleep i’ve ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was so good and the whole hotel was clean and professional! You won’t ever stay at a better Baymont. I was scared it was in the Airport, but it was a good 5-10 min away and i couldn’t even hear planes. You can tell the staff is very proud of their cleanliness and professionalism.
