Save your money I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Staff hardly speak English. Check in too wat to long they don't honor the contract they sign with the state. Pool is closed till further notice. Pillows are kid size ones. Water is very hard and not hot. Breakfast is ok but items are not at temp what the heath department wants. Orange juice and apple juice from machine is so watered down. You can here all the noise from the rooms between your room. The snow crew takes for every to show up so you are stuck there till they arrive

Pool nice and clean. Great breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. Even a bar that serves appetizers from 5pm to whenever. Very Clean rooms. Right off the main drag.

We have stayed at this hotel many times with no issues due to high traveling and would have family be able to hang out with us till 10:00 at the latest and leave which is not against policy. We have asked other staff and was fine, out of state. Today was threatened to check out and not going to be allowed to stay at any other hotel and kicked my family out and was very disrespectful and we were trying to understand and he just kept yelling. We were not loud or rowdy, just talking which has been and checked with corporate still is allowed just not for fort dodge residents aparently, which none of us were. Family from surrounding areas and not a huge gathering of family just 7 of us. He would not honor the military discount, which this hotel has always honored the discount for active. I really don't care about the discount, I mainly care about how rude he was. Others said that was disrespectful as well with how this guy was just constantly yelling as we were asking what happened? Trying to ask if there is a new policy on guests and wouldn't answer just kept saying anybody who doesn't have a room, needs to get off my property now. Which we had a room and just hanging out with some family. He said he would only be lenient with kids because he brings his kids on the weekends to swim as well all the time. For someone who doesn't follow own rules hypocritical and needs to lead by example. Disrespectful towards veterans. My unit and I will not be going here again. Letting other fellow military know. The encounter was only with one male manager on staff that night. He didn't want to listen to questions he kept yelling at all of us about.

On short notice decided to stay in Fort Dodge. Booked a room here, check in was quick, staff was very friendly and polite, our room was very clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was very good, and it was quite! Will definitely be returning!

Don't stay here. They have ridiculous rules. They will not rent rooms to anyone local. The hotel will not allow anyone staying to have any outside guests in the pool! Very rude staff......explanation was They had a bad experience with locals. So you ban the entire community? 🤔

Had problems checking in. their system was not working properly. But we finally got a room. All was well the night, slept good. This morning we were greeted by a slow shower drain and standing in water.

Heat did not work at all had two rooms and room fan made noise all night. Did not sleep well. I should have just stayed in my van. Was not offered any kind of discount or reimbursemt. I come to Fort Dodge every six weeks . Guess I will be finding another place to stay..

Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Was impressed staff told my brother “thank you for your service” when we checked in. We were up there for the Honor Flight.
