Running Aces Hotel

Generally, my husband and I enjoyed our stay. Though I wish they included, or at least mentioned the $75 incidental fees when booking and checking in online because we had to take it out of our dining fund for the weekend. But aside from that it was a very pleasant stay. There was an issue of loud children running the halls and in the rooms next door late at night, but that was not the hotel's fault.

Worst customer service in the hotel industry. Every time we're in town for a poker event these guys OVERCHARGE for hotel rooms. This particular time we used a coupon for a FREE room provided by the casino. Front desk asked for a credit card for "incidentals". They charged our debit card over $400! The front desk lady said it was a mistake and they would have it reversed. waited all night and it never got credited back to the card. Talked to the manager this morning and he was no help at all. They were rude and I'm fairly certain they have no plans to refund the money they charged for the FREE room! I have seen them do this so many times to other people. That's $400 that was meant to be spent at the casino for the poker tournament. can't even play the tournament now because the hotel stole the money that should never have been charged in the first place. Horrible customer service. The entire purpose for staying here was to play the tournament . Definitely not in the mood to play over after what the hotel did. Going to file a dispute with credit card company as well. ******BUYER BEWARE

Super Clean, Fresh, quiet. Friendly staff even though we just walked in after booking online. Did not have the chance to use pool, because we were too tired after a long flight. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is that I feel breakfast should last until at least 10am but closes at 9. Will stay again.

Super clean and friendly. Very quiet and great pool/hottub. A must stay! Large spacious parking lot which is patrolled regularly. Connected to casino. You don’t even have to walk outside. Reward system for stays. Our favorite place to stay.

Extremely clean and has all the amenities. Very comfortable bed, 4 fluffy pillows and has a great view of the horse track. Most comfortable stay! The morning breakfast is delicious and has the best coffee. Or you can make it in your room. I'll stay again!!

Four out of five times I got back to my room there was no one behind the desk to pay for my water and snacks. Upon checkout, they wouldn’t hold my bag until I left. Never in 30 years of staying in hotels have I heard “that’s not allowed”. The poker room is nice enough, but I won’t ever be back as I’m stranded with a huge bag I can’t take into the gaming area standing out in the cold. What a joke

Get a players card, enjoy the best prices around during the week. They have food till at least 1 at the restaurant on the floor and a bar open till close. Comfy and clean rooms. I like to call it home away from home.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Nice pool area with a hot tub. We picked the hotel because they said they had Smart TVs and it was actually Bluetooth that you had to stream from your device. But our in room the TV did not work to do that. They said they would send maintenance but they never showed up. They did give us a 10% discount, so in the end I would recommend this hotel.
