We enjoy the historical aspects of the building along with the vintage-cozy style. Makes you feel right at home! The customer service is stellar! We haven't met a staff member yet that wasn't friendly and attentive. They are pet friendly (which means a lot to the fur ball we travel with) and are just steps away from the lake walk. The hotel is attached to shops and restaurants, making it easy to leave the room without hauling coats and luggage. Our favorite experience to date was staying in a lakeside room and drawing the curtains to the sailboat races. We highly recommend this property.

We visited after the remodel and the room was great. The mattress was firm, they provide comfortable robes, and a pillow menu. The rooms have both heat and ac, a big tv, sofa, desk and chairs.|You get an actual key!|The showers were redone so we'll with front / back shower heads|If you go, consider dropping off someone & luggage at the lobby. Because the covered parking does require a walk and a few stairs / elevators.|The building is so cool. It has boutique stores and 3 restaurants. It's in walking distance of a few restaurants/bars.|We will definitely go back

Super cool spot with all the small shops and great places to eat. Definitely a need to stop if going through duluth. The history is also very cool to check out.If you have the time to read into it.

The Inn is located within the Historic Fitger's Building. The Luxury King & Sofa Rooms decor & furnishings were rich in color & materials, comfortable & easy to relax with morning coffee, evening wine & space for family we invited to visit. |Cannot say enough good things about the staff & service we encountered, from changing reservations, checking in/out, bellhop/porter service. They were friendly, accommodating, welcoming, happy & seemed to really like their jobs & take pride in working at Fitger's Inn. |We liked the easy access to shops & restaurants located in the Fitger's Complex. |It would be very easy to walk to other shops, restaurants, theatre downtown Duluth as well as access the Lakewalk.|The Inn has a very mature, quiet feel. We did not see any young children while we were there. One of the guests played the piano in the lobby one afternoon. It was a delight to sit & listen & imagine all the stories the building holds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a stunning historic hotel! My wife and I stayed for the weekend and everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the rooms were beautiful! Make sure to get a lake view if you can! There are a bunch of ships and places to eat, so there is plenty to do. We will definitely be coming back, thank you!

We stayed in a lakeside luxury king room for three nights in late October. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view of the lake, including the lift bridge was such a treat. We will definitely be back. Complimentary valet parking was very easy to use, they even helped us unload/load our car upon arrival and departure. We loved all that the Fitger’s complex had to offer.

Came to Duluth on a work trip with the family in tow. Client recommended staying at Fitger’s; Glad they did. Beautiful Inn with integrated food and retail complex on the shores of Lake Superior. Loved our time so much, we extended our stay an extra day. Thank you personally Todd for making it easy throughout. Nice to know we always have our place to stay in Duluth.

A very beautiful hotel in a historic brewery. When you stay here you are staying in a bit of history. Our room was a double King Dulex (Handicapped) room. We had a nice view of the lake however the window was fairly small. The room, being a handicapped room, included a large shower but no tub. My wife enjoys relaxing in a bath so it was disappointing that a tub was not available. The room was very clean and nice but still what one would find in a lesser priced room. We paid 350 per night so definitely were paying for the historical and location aspect which my wife felt was totally worth it. They have free parking in a lot just south of the hotel. The entrance is just past, south, of the Pickwick Restaurant.
