This was a good stay. The room was pretty gross but all of the staff were super kind and helpful. If you care about a clean room I wouldn't check it out- carpets are old and stained, bathtub was brown with crust, poop under the toilet rim, etc. Also, the pillows are like half sized for some reason, which wasn't ideal because we were staying overnight for my friends surgery recovery. Also, the breakfast is definitely closer to a grab-and-go situation, but it worked fine. I'd probably recommend staying at a newer construction cheap hotel, it isn't that the cleaners aren't doing enough, it's that the hotel needs some serious renovations. Four stars for staff being awesome and for being a no hassle stay. One star off for being just kind of a nasty hotel.

Positive: The staff was great, lady at the counter was street and very helpful. The room is outdated and hotel is ran down. Pieced low. Questionable characters in the area. Negative: There was part of a soap wrapped in the tub so I don?t think it was cleaned well. Everything was old, chipped or stained and the room smelled musty and dirty.

Front desk staff was very inviting and friendly. The hot tub was not working, waiting on parts. Need to improve breakfast. All items other than the cereal were frozen and coated in ice crystals. You shouldn't have to microwave your breakfast

We booked a 2-bed queen suite, it was perfect for the family. |It is a 2-story motel with no elevator, the suites are on the 2nd floor. Parking was abundant and easily accessible.|The children enjoyed the pool, the hot tub was surprisingly large. |The breakfast room was easily found, and roomy. The provided breakfast was continental with fresh fruit and mostly packaged food items. Hot food was provided by heating food choices in the microwave. It had only 1 garbage can. |I appreciate motels that offer a sink in the breakfast room to assist with sticky hands and spills with children, but this motel did NOT have one. The public washroom is in the pool area, down the hall from the breakfast room.|The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly.|The public areas are attractively arranged with comfortable furniture. |The rooms had no road noise from the nearby freeway. |The location is across the parking lot from a Denny's and near gas stations, easily accessed from the freeway.

Everything was great until a staff member decided to start trouble and get my homeless family and I kicked out. Watch out for this staff Mel. She makes very bad coffee and has no customer service skills. Would only stay again if she gets fired.

For an affordable hotel, this is a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and always available for any requests. The remodeling is fantastic and it makes it look like a more expensive hotel. Does it smell a little like old cigarettes? Yes, but its not overwhelming. We were in town for a wedding and thr hotel worked great. I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you are traveling with more than one person. Everything else was comfortable and made for a great stay.

Stopped here on the way up to Canada so arrived at nearly midnight, left by 8am. Wish we would have paid the extra money to stay somewhere else. The first room we walked into smelled so horrible of mold/damp and musty and cigarettes. The front desk staff was very nice, and upgraded us. The second room was better smelling than the first but still not good. New floors- no carpet. The curtain had a cigarette burn, mold on the backs, and mold on the window frame. And you could still smell cigarettes. Woke up in the morning and could feel it in my lungs. Breakfast was there- but it was the least appealing continental I’ve been to. Even a roughly 8 year old boy walked in and walked out with nothing. Not sure if the problem is with the water coffee and apple juice machines not being clean but they both had awful tastes. If you are debating this hotel I’d pass if I were you.

First, the staff at the front desk were all extremely kind and friendly. But, this is the dirtiest hotel I've ever been to. My room smelled horrific, like a mix between dirty feet & 20 years of smoking. Even leaving the window open all day, when I returned the smell was still very noticable. The comforter had visible stains on it, as did one of my towels in the bathroom. The carpet appears to have not been washed since 1980 (likely part of the smell!). Additionally, there was drywall damage that was (poorly) hidden behind a mirror in my room, there was some kind of nasty gunk on the wall behind my in-room desk, and the chair at the desk was so dirty I refused to even put my bag in it let alone sit in it. The tub was cracked in several areas (just old I guess?). The lobby at least was clean and it didn't smell bad, just smelled like chlorine since the pool is right next to it. The Continental breakfast seemed very popular, though I did not eat anything here due to my concern of the cleanliness of the hotel. I will say the area is convenient as you can walk to most of what Rogers has to offer from there. DO NOT stay here if you're wanting a refreshing place to rest after a long day. It's inexpensive, but there's definitely a reason. I wish I had paid the additional $30/night and stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street.
