Holiday Inn Great Falls-Convention Center, an IHG Hotel

We usually enjoy staying with Holiday Inn but this time was different. My kids were looking forward to swimming at the pool that had a water slide but found out the pool was closed. There was nothing mechanically wrong with it, the pool chemicals had been managed poorly and weren’t at acceptable levels for people to use it. Then I found out the breakfast I had paid to include in my rate would not be available because the restaurant was closed for repairs. The hotel staff did recognize that I booked that rate and automatically reduced me to the rate with no breakfast but I had to ask before finding that out. Finally, we get to the room and find lots of hair on the sheets. Luckily my family travels with lots of our own blankets so we made it work without using the supplied top sheets. Needless to say we won’t be booking this hotel again when visiting Great Falls. Definitely book the other Holiday Inn near the airport.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last few years. The staff are always great! Rooms are acceptable. The breakfast is USUALLY fabulous (order off a menu) but this year they served McDonalds Breakfast sandwiches. YUCK!! Please call and make sure you are getting the proper breakfast (is the restaurant still under construction?). The swimming area has been under construction for the last 3 years...so weird!

Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I was able to to get a good nights sleep. At checkout, Cruz did a wonderful job. Tony Romas I believe has just opened and I had a drink and appetizer the first night. The food and service were both a little slow and the quality of food wasn't great, but maybe they need a little more time to get up and running. I would give it a second shot when I go into town again. Breakfast isn't included in the stay but I was able to get a cup of coffee each morning. The gym had all the essentials for me to get a good workout in. All and all I will be staying during future trips to Great Falls.

Stayed in worse. It seamed like hotel has had lots of staff turnover. Guy at front desk tried his best but you can tell he was new with no support. Called the day before to ensure early check in. got there and was not the case. told to wait in Bar. once room was ready. checked in but couldn’t get keys to work so back to the bar. Staff in bar and restaurant where we had breakfast next day were all very nice, but everyone was new. Food was average at best!

The staff at this hotel were great. We had an issue that we needed resolved with our room, Cruze rectified the problem immediately and made sure that we were taken care of. Breakfast was good - Jeannette was am excellent server and made sure we were well taken care of. We appreciate that. Brandon made check-out easy and made sure we were happy with our stay. My family would stay here again.

Frank gave great customer service. Can’t wait to return. Great rooms. For me and the family. Had fun in the pool as well. Tony romas was down but the complimentary breakfast was good. Hope when I return Tony romas will be open again. The coffee was good as well. Thank you Frank

Pool area under construction from what we were told it’s been like for 7 months hair all over pool deck told staff and was never cleaned up hair was there for the 5days we were there. Stay over cleaner did a great job only complaint in room was tub was very slow draining. Soda machine on the 4th floor put out warm sodas. Gym was great. Tony Roma’s staff and food was great for lunch and dinner and the waitress for breakfast was very friendly and accommodating. And front desk has a very bad leak at the check in area

The front desk staff were all awesome!! They all wanted to pet my dog and give her treats. Which of course, she loved. Brandon even gave me a water for the road. I really enjoyed my stay. It has been many years since I stayed there, and it looks great after the remodel!! Highly recommended by Jules and Glory the golden retriever!!
