Terra Nova Cabins

Cabin was in pristine condition; location is unbeatable right by the lake and surrounded by countless mountains that can’t make the experience more Montana. Check in went smooth and staff was quickly responsive and very helpful (we needed to extend for a night and gave very little notice, yet they accommodated us very quickly). 10/10 recommend.

This is such a magical place, not just because of the location, but because of the staff. |If you want to escape the crowds of West Yellowstone and the park while still being close to it, this is the perfect place to stay. It has gorgeous views over the lake and beautiful mountains, and really just makes you feel like one with nature, while still being comfortable in one of the nice accommodations. You can sit outside and enjoy the views, play games, sit by the fireplace, while getting a visit from the most beautiful fox Foxy with the most bushy tail. |The lovely people that runs this place, are so kind hearted and helpful, it’s hard to find people like that, and they will make sure you’re comfortable during your stay! |We were so grateful to stay at their little oasis and can’t wait to come back again. |Go here! |Thanks SuAn and co.!

Across the lake; Room was very clean and comfortable. Good coffee, microwave, mini fridge. Only thing my husband didn’t like that our cabin was hard to find at night time. No attendant in property. He prefers a hotel because of that but otherwise it was great.

We had a great stay! The cabins, more like modern cabins/hotel rooms, were quite spacious and had all of the standard hotel-like amenities. The gas station near the property has a great selection of snacks and foods, which was a life saver for us. I believe West Yellowstone is about 20-30 mins away (can't remember!) so its not far drive, but feels far if you run out of food! I would love to come back and explore the area more. It was serene.

Super cute and accommodating lodging experience. Stayed just a quick two nights as it was part of our road trip across the country. Great location just a 20 minute drive from West Yellowstone. Right across the road from a nice large lake that we strolled along. Everything looked pretty new so for lodging kind of out in the boonies - the facilities were great(decent cleanliness, hot water, essentials provided)! Rooms were a bit small but not complaining, given the location - just making note.

Was honestly disappointed with Terra Nova. Was expecting more even though it's not an expensive place. The room we were given, despite being scrupulously clean, still had pebbles lying around on the floor. The room was actually quite ok, the beds were also fine, but the worst was the bathroom. The door to the toilet was so tight that you could hardly get it open again once it was closed. Extraction made a lot of noise, and if the neighbor had finished his extraction, it made noise in most of the cabin. The shower in the bathroom was uncomfortable. It was so hard that it hurt to take a shower. It almost felt like a torture machine. It was quite disappointing and drags the place down quite a bit. On the outside it seems nice, but the inside just isn't good enough.

I stayed for a week. The cabin was clean and quiet. I had lots of towels. It would be nice if it was closer to West Yellowstone but if it was it would’ve been less quiet. I will stay there again when I go to YNP.

Stayed here with family for 4 nights. While booking there were apprehensions on this property, but it faded out as we enjoyed the stay!!! ======================= Looking forward for my next trip here!!!! ============================================== Great Location across hebgen lake & with 20mi access to West entrance of Yellowstone NP. ============================================ Perk --- We were able to see deer and fox around the property - but no safety issue!! ============================================= Rooms were well maintained and equipped. Views around the property were awesome. Staying away from the hectic of the tourist city. ================================ Value for money. ================================== Friendly staff!!! -----on arrival the front desk lady was very helpful and courteous at the convenience store. -----during my stay, I did requested for microwaveable plates & they were delivered in 5mins by the property manager. ============================================= My suggestions for enhancements: 1. Need a mirror outside the washrooms towards makeup/getting ready 2. Need body lotion as part of toiletries 3. Please check & fix the microwave in 35B as it was behaving oddly ==============================================
