Hilton Garden Inn Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket

The hotel location and decor are very nice. The only issue is that there was a strong smell of smoke coming into my room from a nearby restaurant or grille and jackhammering from nearby construction started well before 8 AM. The hotel restaurant was also out of lettuce and tomatoes, so several things on the menu weren't available. I usually love staying here, but this wasn't the best stay.

Hi! The room is quite clean, and that is great! The area is cool and looks like it was a fun area . However, I am very displeased with the parking. We had been traveling from Kentucky yesterday since 3 am. Not for football, and I had no idea about the game. Paying for parking is not mentioned on the app. Not only is it not mentioned, and neither is the fact you have to come in before you attempt to park to get a pass. With all of the road closures and people everywhere, it took over an hour just to get to the lot, and then to have to back out in a sea of people and then go around the block for another 20 min with no where to park to come in and then I find out it's 35$! They said it doesn't matter that it's the end of the day. Everyone pays 35$ on game day. We park, drop our stuff, and immediately go to find dinner. The wait everywhere was over an hour, it's approaching 9pm. So we come back and get the car to try to drive through a sea of drunk people trying to jump on my rental car. Finally found a McDonald's of all things we hadn't eaten since breakfast, it's nearly 10 pm now. We go through all of the lunacy to get back to the parking garage and find that the person trying to get in, in front if us can't and needs to back up and get out, So we have to back out to let them out in a sea of drunks. Only to get to the kiosk and our parking pass doesn't work! So we back out again. Go around the block again, go inside, and get a new card. And I'm paying $35 for 2 hours? It's like 10:30 pm now. Game day is way over, but the party was not, and we were not here for it. I travel the country for work and will be a diamond guest in 2 more stays. Because of the ridiculous parking, I won't stay here again, and I absolutely do not think I should be charged for it. This is unfortunate because this is very clean and you have good service. But yesterday was a nightmare.

Location is excellent! Easy walk to the Pinnacle Arena. The staff was friendly and stored our luggage after check out. The breakfast is a lovely buffet or ordered fresh from the menu. Yum! The parking garage is pretty handy especially with big Husker events and concerts in Lincoln. We will stay again!

I’d recommend the restaurant. Best Buffalo chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I said you can tell it’s going to be good by the way my starter salad was prepared like a work of art. Very impressed! Not sure of their names but the chef and server we had on 2-11-25 were extremely nice and made sure we were taken care of!

Our stay was pretty good. There could be some updates in the rooms. And the outlets were pretty loose to plug stuff in to.|The breakfast was cold and not worth the amount of money. |It was quite the walk to the parking garage, easy to get lost and hard to haul your stuff or push a cart all that way.

The Hilton Garden Inn Lincoln/Downtown Haymarket is a great downtown hotel in a beautiful spot in the city close to plenty of destinations. The hotel itself is beautiful with a comfortable lobby and bar. We arrived pretty late in the evening but the front desk staff got us checked in quickly and up to our rooms to relax. Rooms were very spacious and queen beds were super comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms were very well maintained and clean. Had a great nights sleep. The buffet breakfast looked good, but I opted to instead down the morning in their indoor pool and spa. Positive: Everything, no complaints at all. Extremely clean, the shuttle, walking distance to Napoli's (which was also great) and you pour a good Vodka ? Negative: Nope

Service good, cleanliness ok. Many stains on carpet in hallways and room. Room decor colors don’t mesh with each other. Very dated rooms.|Convenient walkway from 3td floor to parking garage 4th floor. But walking through the 3rd floor to skyway, you have to go by some Arena lofts that are on the 3td floor past hotel doors. Stench of cigarette smoke and trash smell is very strong. Rest of hotel does have a cigarette smoke odor as well. |Nice lobby decked out in game day celebration. Staff seem nice. Should have put disclaimer on registration on website regarding increased garage parking fee for Saturday game day, so customers know. If you’re not attending the game. |Walls are thin. Neighbor next door is having a “party” with loud noises and music. Will inform management if noise not less by 11pm|First time staying here. Usually stay at The Courtyard across the street but it was full. Next time I’ll book earlier and stay at Courtyard ir the Residence Inn being built.|Cigarette smell stench is a deal breaker for me. It’s gross.
