Omaha Marriott

Marriott was a lifesaver for us after the blizzard in March that left thousands without power. Took us calling many hotels to find somewhere that would take us and our guinea pigs, and we finally found Marriott. They were very helpful and understanding and we are so grateful we had somewhere to go when we didn't have power. Thank you so much for providing us with a safe and warm place! It was so much appreciated!

Clean hotel, but outside of that, the front desk staff is pretty rude and condescending. The food here is insanely expensive, I paid almost $30 for a chicken sandwich and a small side salad. The wifi (at least in my room) was super slow as well. Awesome gym though so kudos there.

My first and last time staying here. Came for business and thought this hotel would be a great place to stay. The staff were 10/10 they went above and beyond for us. The hotel did not impress me much. First off to charge for parking in a hotel i am already paying to stay for several days is beyond crazy, then to try to charge me for the breakfast buffet? Might as well charge for the wifi. The rooms were nothing special, actually as much as a travel across the USA these rooms were low end in my opinion. The windows were drafty and had ice forming on the inside of room. I get Omaha is a cold city this time of year but when i wake up freezing because the windows are drafty as i have the heat set at 73 to stay half way warm is crazy to me. Not impressed

Positive: Very nice area of Omaha. Negative: The air conditioner did not work. At one point our room was at 73. We keep running it on high and nothing. We had to open a window.

$30 a day to park out in the parking lot in suburbs next to a mall is ridiculous. Can't even just add it to your room like any normal hotel, have to go scan the sign in the parking lot and put your CC into a website. Often Stay at other Marriot Properties with covered parking and pay much less in downtown areas. Lounge doesn't have any snacks, tiny water bottles... If your room is an even number (north side of the hotel wing) the highway is very loud in your room. Semi's with Jake brakes, cars with loud exhausts even worse than the normal traffic. Room is 74 Deg even though the AC is on and set to 67 deg. Otherwise the room is nice and clean, staff mostly friendly. Probably won't ever stay here again and travel to Omaha frequently.

Worst Marriott I've ever stayed in mainly because my vehicle (and others) was vandalized and windows were punched out in the Marriott parking lot. Funny thing there is a sign in the lobby that talks about safety precautions yet the Hotel doesn't have CAMERAS in the parking lot!? I parked 75 feet from the corner door and next to my room because the front parking lot is small and nowhere else to park. Hotel staff said "sorry nothing we can do". Marriott you are better than this. Unacceptable on many levels.

Good Location right off I-680 and US 6 gives you quick access to everything you want to do in Omaha. ||The value is pretty good, my biggest complaint is that there is only complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning and I need to have it all day.
