NillWe stayed here from Friday through Monday. The location is great. Easy access to a highway, Target/Walmart are close, good shops are near. Small drive to some nice malls and decent food places around. Gas stations and coffee shops right across the street. The rooms look really nice and clean, but the beds are uncomfortable. Overall, the place is in nice condition, but the elevators can be slow by the front desk. There is another elevator by the pool that isn't used as much and is quicker. The windows can be loud on windy days and with L street being busier, the road noise can be loud from time to time. If you're a light sleeper, I would try to get a room away from L street. The pool is just a kid pool. My son loved it. There is a hot tub, but it gets used up by the kids, too. Fitness room was pretty nice for most hotels I have been to. Machines were clean and worked. Free weights were on racks, they also had a nice bench. Good flooring with mats as well. Breakfast was alright. It gets you by rather than spending money. They have eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage links, waffles, yogurt, cereal, quite a bit, really. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. I just wish the beds were more comfortable.

NillOur first impression began with a fire truck and EMS in front of the building as we were walking in. Someone had passed out (drunk) in the pool. This took a while to get handled—and the pool was the main reason we booked this hotel. After spending a few minutes in the lobby it was clear that there was a misrepresentation from the website to the actual hotel. We walked through the dining area and were immediately put off because of the smell. The restrooms had the same unpleasant smell. It is beyond disappointing to book a hotel and have a 4 year old look forward to it to only be so put off and disappointed when we get there. We tried to voice some of these concerns with the guy at the front desk and he told us he doesn’t even work at the front desk. Just a weird and disappointing experience. We booked best western plus because we have always had good experiences—not this time. We knew we didn’t want to stay and asked for a refund which they would not give. I feel that with all of the things considering, an exception could have been made. Skip this best western plus.

★★★★★We had seen some bad reviews and were nervous about staying here, but decided to risk it for the pool area. We were so glad we did. The room was clean and exactly what you'd expect for the price point. The bed was very comfortable. Our 2 1/2 year old loved the pool area. Yes, there were some scratches here and some paint chips there, but I think it's obviously a well used area and probably difficult to keep in pristine condition with the amount of kids in there every day. There was nothing that made me feel it was dirty or unsafe. The breakfast had a lot of options. ||A couple of tips for the pool - I would bring some slip resistant water shoes. It did actually get pretty slippery and I saw several kids and even an adult or two slip while we were there. If you have the suitcase room I'd bring my own towel. During the busy times the towels weren't replaced fast enough and like most hotels they aren't very big.

NillDecent place to stay, the room was nice and clean, breakfast was ok but the pool/ jacuzzi was very disappointing. The priority reason why this hotel was chosen for my family and I was to enjoy the pool area. My littles enjoyed the pool but no else was able to enjoy the jacuzzi which is part of the pool area. It was EXTREMELY HOT to the point where it could cause degree burns. I couldn’t even bare to put my feet in for half a second before sticking them back up. Waving my legs on top of the steam was hot enough. The temperature on that had to be allot more than the required temperature. Hope someone else questioned this too and brought it to the hotels attention. There was more parents like myself that had the same experience that day when I was there.

★★★★The swimming pool is only 3 feet deep at the deepest point. With the water slides, I assumed it would be deeper. The hot tub was too hot but they were trying to get it fixed. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast area is nice and roomy and had many choices.

NillI really don't know where to begin with this. We got upgraded to a suite, which sounds good, but ultimately meant nothing. It looks like our room had some sort of party in it before. (There were steamers on the wall and other little things) Our room did not look clean, and the furniture had definitely seen better days. Our desk chair had scratches all over it. The plumbing is really slow as well. As for the service, workers were very sassy when we asked for a late check out. The breakfast area, although free, was very limited. Plates, bowls, and silverware were rarely stocked. The pool is tiny and the hottub is way too hot. Although these things are small, it stills ruins the experience given how much we paid for the room.

NillJust there over the weekend. All the paint in the bathroom was peeling off the walls and was disgusting. The rest of the room was great. Advertising with an indoor water park is extremely exaggerated, it's more like a puddle with a slide. No house keeping which is weird. And we ended up leaving a day early because someone was smoking pot on the 4th floor and when we reported it, they said the smell came from a trash can of dirty diapers which is complete shit cause I have 2 little boys and not once has one of their diapers smelled like a burning skunk. Would not recommend this place for taking kids for a swimming get away. If you need a quick place to stay, it would work but I'll never go back.

NillStaff/family are staying at this hotel, and milling around in the office and front desk. So professionalism and personal information sharing is a concern. Security questions aside, the hotel was nice! I'm a return guest and will likely return. Clean room, good view, and ample breakfast offerings. One elevator broke while I was there. But things happen. I think the hotel has the potential to increase their offerings and enhance the guest experience!
