Cattleman's Bunkhouse

I found this place when my GPS told me there was a hotel in town. There was not and I stopped by the bar to use the restroom, got some water and explained that id probably have to sleep in the car tonight. The bartender told me they had the bunkhouse specifically for this reason. It was 40 bucks for a room, they have four. There's a spot to do your laundry, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, some games, etc.

We never experienced any motel or b&b quite like this one. All the usual things we looked for...clean, quiet, good service, but also the addition of fixing your own breakfast with just about anything a person could think of eating. It was like staying at somebodies actual house. We had coffee, pork chops, eggs, buttered toast and chocolate milk for breakfast dessert. I can't begin to list the other choices we could have had. All included with the room price. I would recommend this rare bargain to anyone.

My mom and sister and I stayed here this weekend. If I could give it a minus I would. The place was dirty . We had no hot water until the owner came over to switch the breaker on for the hot water heater the next day . When we first got into town we didn't know where it was so we went to the bar and asked the bartender where it was . He was very detailed on how to get here . But we couldn't get in because there is a key pad on the door like a real estate agent outside on the door. So I called the number on the website and the guy answered and asked me if we wanted in there . And asked if we were paid up before he gave me the code to get in. But when he asked me if we wanted in, it was like and told him, " no, I just want to look at it and just hang out." But they only checked on us one time and didnt take the garbage out that was here when we came and they didn't clean out the fridge because there was a half of a gallon of milk that was curdled. There was rotten bacon in there and bad eggs. I don't highly recommend staying here. They don't manage it very well. Also we found out because they didn't tell us what rooms we would be staying in so there are the same key pads on the doors and come to find out it's the same code for the room doors as the front door. So if there are other people staying here that you don't know can go into your room and steal whatever you left in the room.
