Lord Ranch Resort

The little cabins are modest, the mattress too soft for my back, but for the price and what most people desire in a cabin, I think they are a little treat. There’s a small fridge, stove, and a grill so you can create your own dining memories. Lord Ranch is off the beaten path and the surrounding expansive topography exudes western Nebraska. In fact, you are likely to see and hear lots of wildlife while walking around the ranch. At night, the coyotes howling in the distance harkens back to a different, more savage time. The ladies that operate Lord Ranch are down to earth and very helpful. They also sell some locally produced goodies you take home with you as a memory of your stay in Nebraska's Wild West.

Jackie & Shannon are kind enough to share their slice of heaven with the general public with their cozy and accommodating cabins. The peace and quiet, breathtaking view and the best stargazing opportunities make this place hard to beat. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the two of them (plus Dally & Hope) and learn a little bit of their background. Their passion and love for this part of world shines bright and I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area!

This is a very remote and romantic lil spot way out of town and just amazing!! The host, forgive me that I forget their names, were just 2 of the best host and very accommodating!!! I was very impressed with the long dirt lane back to the ranch which we rode our motorcycles to get to. Fire ring with really nice and dry wood for us to burn. We originally wanted to find a spot for the meteor shower that was happening that weekend but found it to be not only good for that but just a really nice quiet and beautiful get away from all of the normal. I would HIGHLY recommend a weekend getaway to this wonderful lil ranch. Also the separate lil, I'll call them tiny homes, were very well set up and just the right kinda atmosphere to make it a quaint lil romantic spot. Thank you to the Lord ranch for having us and taking very good care of us!!!

We stayed 3 nights with a large group and I have to say it was absolutley wonderful . Cabins were clean and have incredibly comfortable beds . The owners were very hospitable and super friendly . I would recommend this place any day and will definitely be back !

Beautiful setting that was the perfect jump off point for our Sandhills kayaking trip. Jackie and Shannon were very gracious hosts and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect place for listening to the sounds of the country and stargazing. We’ll be back for sure.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have had a better experience! One of the owners, Jackie came by to say hello to us and was so kind! The cabin was very clean and well stocked and the property was absolutely gorgeous. It was so quiet and serene and a much needed relaxing getaway! The stars at night were incredible. I highly recommend Lord Ranch Resort!

Jackie (owner) is very friendly & hospitable. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay! She brought us firewood for the firepit and even brought us briquettes & lighter fluid so we could cook out on the grill! This is an excellent place to escape the hustle bustle & recharge! Thank you Jackie for a great weekend!!

Wonderful little stop on the motorcycles, much needed escape from reality. Talk about hospitality and a get away. Most definitely looking forward to another trip to make a visit, thank you so much!
