This place is DISGUSTING! Rooms are missing half of the "amenities" . No working outlets. Nothing. It's sad when I had to spend an extra 200 on a different hotel immediately after checking in because this place was THAT bad! If you're not into bed bugs and roaches. Don't go there.

I don't know where to start on how awful this place is. Mysterious stains and gunk on walls, non working outlets, tv didn't work properly, light fixtures did not work. Oh, and I spilled water then wiped it up to find the rag was black!! My dog found a chicken bone, not from us. There were not proper pillows, nor a mattress pad. Just you, and then a semi clean sheet separating you from a disgusting stained mattress that was sub par as well. The tub and shower had so much soap scum I was not going in there. I did have to ask for a clean. They gave me some towels, made the bed, and swept the floors. Not a through clean. The floors were still black if u wiped them. I had to shower somewhere else because the shower was still not even touched.

The room was adequate and at least the bed was comfortable. We stayed there two nights. The room was not made up and fresh towels not provided for our second day. No one had been in to clean or empty trash. Speaking of cleaning, I spilled something on the floor and grabbed some tissues to wipe it up. The tissue was BLACK after wiping up a small bit of sauce. Black! And we had been walking around in bare feet. There were 3 small pillows on a king size bed. There was a group of young adults partying out in the parking lot the night we arrived and at 5 am the next morning we work to very loud music that continued for a while. Definitely would not be my first choice next time.

Positive: Price was the only positive but not worth it given the conditions. Negative: Cigarette burns in bedding, broken light fixture (taped and hanging from outlet), spider in the bathtub, dirty, people live here are just a few of the issues. Do NOT recommend staying here!!!!

The bed was comfortable and the front desk friendly and helpful. But I was trying to figure out how blood got on the lamp shade and if the bathroom ceiling was triggering mold allergies and why was the floor sticky

Positive: Location Negative: Did not like the fact that my room was on the second floor without an elevator. I am 76 years old and have bad knees

Alright, so this place isn’t the worst. There was an event at SUNY Brockport and Hampton was completely booked, so that left only my mother and I to book a room here. That is the only time I think anybody should book here. If there are rooms at Hampton, which is right next door, I see no reason to book here. I understand pricing and in some cases I see exceptions, but carry that mindset when booking here. This place is a last resort. Why is it a last resort? We showed up at 11pm to check in, and my mother had called early to make sure we could be booked at that time. Good thing for us, there was an employee there who booked us a room and for the most part there is nothing to complain about. Appearance is very concerning but in this case we only needed it for one night, so as long as the beds were fine it wasn’t a problem. We got a room on the far end by the field and after opening the door, we weren’t all too upset. It wasn’t great but it worked. The view was nice as well! We got to see the wonderful Hampton right next to us!😂 Anyways, after about 3 minutes of getting settled we get a knock at the door. It was the man who had given us the room. He had told us that turns out, there is a bug inspection in that exact room early next morning! To add to it, we had found blood on pillows and sheets that must’ve belonged to bed bugs. We were moved to our new room and for what it was worth, it was far better. The carpeted floor on the second floor was far better than the hardwood floor on the ground floor. No bugs seemed to be in the room after checks either, however to simply carry the thought that we had to look for bed bugs and imperfections and even then having to wash clothes upon getting home wasn’t the best. The Television was very old and it wasn’t worth watching T.V. due to that. It was more of an eyesore and it was better to just stream Netflix on my phone or something. The infrastructure looks very poor on the outside and it’s very tight to move through in regard to the stairs and upstairs walkways. The continental breakfast appeared to have been only Frosted Flakes and a couple other snacks. Didn’t have anything and went to Dunkin instead. To conclude, it really isn’t TERRIBLE but it isn’t good either. We left early so I carry no opinion on any other staff members or service. We had only met the one man, who was very kind as to move us and to inform us as to what happened. He stayed late for us and for that he helps the rating. The location works but considering the fact that this place should only be worth a one night stay, I can’t imagine the location being much of a concern.
