Easy to find, very welcoming and so happy I could bring in our small dog. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and great clean room! We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast and although it was a short visit I would definitely return when going to New Paltz, Thank you!

** PLEASE LIKE & SHARE OUR REVIEWS ** Please note : hotel is dog friendly but does not permit other animals. Also, there is not an elevator on site. 2nd floor requires luggage being carried up. Can request assistance to help on stairways. Breakfast was small but fresh and had healthy options. Coffee was medium strong and there are tea and hot chocolate options. There are hot breakfast sandwiches at the front desk offered upon request. They have a dining area, living room hamgout spot & business center. Staff is courteous and efficient. We heard 0 noise during our stay and had fun outside playing near the picnic area. Rolled in at 230am. Front desk had us checked in quickly. It is Christmas holiday but plenty of availability. Beautiful room. Very clean.

This is a follow up to a prior review concerning the bogus smoking charge imposed by this establishment. The exact same thing happened to my wife and me after a one night stay on route from NY to Pa. a year or so ago. We fought the charge and ended up dealing with the home office, demanding to know who actually filed the 'smoking' report with the manager, when the report was filed and details of the evidence. Conveniently for the motel, there was an older cigarette burn on the tub rim that we suspect is used over and over to try and claim a $300 cleaning charge from unsuspecting visitors. It took months, but we were successful in getting the charge reversed. Bottom line is that we sense that this motel is guilty of what many travel advisors warn of - bogus charges for hard to prove violations of their rules. Our advice to anyone staying anywhere (and especially here) is to take photos of your room (especially the bathroom) and provide them to the front desk upon check in. And please, consult for further updates on this and other travel scams.

Rooms are clean and staff are polite, but this hotel has problems. First, they didn't respect the late check-out benefit of my Diamond Select status. Charged my card $35 without warning over this, but my Diamond Select concierge reversed the charges after I complained to him. Oh, and when pulling into the driveway I was pulled over by the New York State Police. Hotel is near a confusing intersection of two state highways. From the south, there is no clear way to turn left into the parking lot of this hotel without ending up on a high-speed limited-access highway to New Paltz. The local cops know this and prey on this hotel's out-of-town clientele who are unfamiliar with this confusing traffic pattern. The Wyndham properties in this area are much better.

When I arrived on Friday, 12/5/24, it was late and I was exhausted. The woman at the desk went above and beyond to assist me. The computer placed me on the 2nd floor. I stated that I could not manage the stairs. She made several phone calls to get the computer issue resolved. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. She persisted until she reached a supervisor who was able to correct the issue. This was between 11 and 11:30pm. I will definitely stay here again. Phenomenal customer service!

Room was clean, safe and on the highway. We received early check in even though the hotel was fully booked the night before. We were thankful for that. Manager went above and beyond searching for a needle and thread so that I could sew a button onto a suit jacket . Free coffee and breakfast was nice for our long journey home.

The room 104 was decent, but had a direct doorway between our room and the next door room (dead bolted obviously), which let a whole lot of sound transfer between the rooms. The people next door were playing a movie really, loud, with all the high action sounds and fight scenes sounding like they were directly in my room. I asked the lady at the front desk if she could call their room and request that they turn it down at least. She was very accommodating and helped me out by doing so, and the neighbors turned off their TV sound to where I couldn't hear it. I'm very easy going and do not usually want to complain about anything. So to have good service when I do have a request meant a lot.
