Jen and Abe were great. Breakfast was superb and the accommodations were perfect. Extra lengths to make us feel at home. You can’t go wrong with this level of service

We had a great experience at the house on the Inn property-deer path. Jen went above and beyond before as well as during our stay. Jen answered all of my emails (I ask a lot of questions), allowed us to cehck into the house early, and made sure that we had whatever we needed duriing our stay. At the time of our week's stay, the area was hit by a tornado and we lost power and water for 3 days. Jen made sure we had coolers/ice packs/lamps/coffee, some of which I'm guessing came from her own house. And she was around the whole time when she could have been dealing with her own camp site. Jen met everything that we asked for. She was invested in our experience! The week at Piseco is the only time that my whole family (kids and grandkids) could get together this year so the time together meant a lot to us. We are already booked for next year. Thank you Jen!!!!

The Inn at Piseco Lake is an Adirondack gem! Great getaway from the crowds of the High Peaks region, The innkeeper, Jen, is very personable. Our room and bathroom were comfortable, quiet, and immaculate. They appear to be recently refurbished. The shower was very nicely tiled. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered seconds. Very nice paddles on small inlet streams. We paddled right up to a beaver dam that had created a pond with a water level two feet above the stream. Quite a sight! Also, at Jen’s recommendation, we took a beautiful walk along Mill Stream. We’re looking forward to a return visit!

We stayed in the cabins and were impressed with the accommodations and space. The area is beautiful and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and access to firewood was onsite. The Inn is wonderful with an Adirondack style that leaves you with a relaxed feeling. The Artist Sarah Redpath event held our weekend was great. She captured the heart of the area in her paintings. We will visit again.

Lovely Inn with a beautiful setting right on the lake. Established in 1892, the Inn has the quiet and feel of a special place to take solace. Our hostess Jen was welcoming and the morning family style breakfast was delicious. We often look for places that are unique and The Inn on Piseco Lake was special.

Wonderful camping stay for three grown siblings, and our families! We stayed august 26-28, with each family choosing their own accommodations: campsites, lodge room, or cabin. The cabin was a perfect bungalow with easy access to the campsites, and yet very cozy for sleeping after the campfire is put out. The photos on the website are very accurate! Perfect for glampers. My own family opted for a campsite, as did other family members. We loved it for us! Planning the trip was made easy by the abundance of options. There’s rooms in the lodge, private cabins, campsites by the beach, and then pretty rustic campsites that were a little bit too “off the grid” for us. The kids played pickle ball and tennis on the courts, played in the water, and on the beach, and the parents of the tweens in the group were very happy because there’s zero cell reception and Wi-Fi at the campsites. You have to walk up the hill to the lodge to get a signal. We sat and lay under the stars and talked, played, connected. What else could you ask for? by the end of the weekend we Were all very grateful for the lack of screen time, pings, and social media. We’re already planning to return next year. I don’t write reviews as often as I should. And if you’re reading this, and you book a room for next summer, maybe we won’t get the rooms we want! As it happens, we had the buffet breakfast on the same day as the family who left TWO one star reviews. We ate the same food, but had a very different experience. We enjoyed the pancakes, sausage, bacon, hash browns, fresh fruit salad, coffee, juice, toast, bagels, Real maple syrup… For $12 for adults and $6 for kids especially it was a great meal served by fine people. Maybe not everyone likes seasoning in their eggs (I do!), but the food was absolutely fine! The fruit salad was fresh, beautifully presented and the grapes were even cut in half! Give it a try! I’ll also add that I have NO affiliation with this inn besides having stayed here (paid full price) now a few times, and being annoyed that someone would leave two 1-star reviews because their eggs have seasoning in them.

I stayed here In September 2023 while hiking the NPT. I didn’t get to take advantage of the various amenities on the property but I still recommend checking out the Inn if you’re looking for a place to stay around Piseco Lake. Jen, the Innkeeper, was very attentive to my questions. And what a talker! She’s got all sorts of stories. Breakfast hit the spot!

Breakfast price is right but quality is just not worth it. The scrambled eggs were prepared with an overabundance of spices (I believe rosemary, thyme, oregano) causing them to turn green. Nothing else was homemade; frozen hash brown patties like McDonald's; except not crispy, frozen round sausage patties, and I believe the pancakes may also have been frozen. A knife was required to cut the pancakes and the syrup was ice cold. Wait staff are lovely but sadly I tried the breakfast twice this summer and will not be back.
