Reclaimed Motel

We loved our 2-night stay during Thanksgiving week. Reclaimed Motel is a little gem with an upscale modern-meets vintage vibe. Room 8 was so spacious with a comfy king bed, a roomy sectional couch, luxury bath, and front-facing balcony - highly recommend! This property has been stylishly restored for contemporary tastes while incorporating homey touches from yesteryear: a working record player with vinyl records, a vintage style fridge, a disco ball for decor, outdoor fire pits and an outdoor sauna. Free drinks, snacks, coffee maker are provided. Well located for Red Hook/ Rhinebeck area shopping, restaurants, farmers markets, country hikes. Go for it and enjoy!

The Reclaimed Motel was a unique and fun experience in our many trips to the Hudson Valley! The care and imagination that have been put into these "reclaimed" rooms is admirable, to say the least! The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, with little touches (yummy snacks, good water, LP records and a turntable...), that helped make our stay feel warm and memorable! The sunrise(!) from our room in the West-facing motel was truly pink and beautiful; all our interactions (via text, but still quite personal) with the owners were helpful and kind!|The hotel is well-located, within easy striking distance of Red Hook and Rhinebeck, and the local dining is superb. We highly recommend claiming your room at the Reclaimed!

My wife and I had the best time at the Reclaimed Motel! Everything is so thought through and well decorated. I am a vintage lover so I loved seeing the well curated art and furniture in the rooms. We kept saying it was an upscale Schitt’s Creek and we want to come back with friends in the summer as a city getaway! ||Also, the customer service is so great. I accidentally left my stuffed animal, Berry the frog, and they are so graciously shipping her back to me with VIP treatment. ||Don’t be scared of the word motel, at least not here!!!

What a delight it was to stay at the Reclaimed Motel! Our room was not only spacious and comfortable but also beautifully designed with thoughtful touches throughout (including a record player). The towels and linens were high quality, and the bed provided a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the owners' hospitality and their recommendations for local restaurants, breweries, and attractions. Thank you for creating such a special space in Red Hook.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Reclaimed Motel for one night this past weekend and had the most wonderful experience! We were looking for a cute place upstate to stay for a quick trip and the motel exceeded our expectations. The motel was so unique and our room was so cozy and extremely clean. We took full advantage of our in-room record player, enjoyed some hot tea in the morning on our private deck area and popped into the sauna briefly before our check out. We were bummed not to be able to use the beautiful fire pit due to the rain, but other than the weather there were no complaints! The check in process was seamless and we had no problems finding our room or getting access. We really appreciated the in-room booklet on how the motel came together as well as local recommendations since we weren't familiar with the area. Everything about this place and its management is extremely thoughtful and you can tell a lot of love and care was put into its restoration. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area and would 100% recommend Reclaimed Hotel to anyone looking for a quaint, unique stay anywhere in the Hudson area!

I stayed at the Reclaimed Hotel for a whole week at the end of July and can't say enough about this property. I was in town for business and had nothing but a first rate experience all week. I was upgraded to one of their newest suites. The room was upscaled Bohemian chic, very inviting and VERY clean. It was well appointed and full of amenities which included all kinds of snacks, water, a refrigerator, a record player and a large balcony with outdoor seating. The bathroom was large and clean with an incredibly spacious shower consisting of small decorative tiles. Room access was via the use of a security code which was new for me, but I quickly got the hang of it. I registered online from a text message as well, so both those processes were very streamlined. The location was slightly on the outskirts, but conveniently 10 to 15 min to BARD College, markets, gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants, in every direction. The area was very peaceful, so I was able to get some much needed rest at night after working all day. It's also important to mention, that the hosts were attentive and highly responsive. I travel almost weekly even into the summer months, so cleanliness, comfort, and an environment conducive to rest and productivity within the context of a quality experience are a priority for me. This property covers all bases. I highly recommend this property if you're coming to the area for business or pleasure. You're certain not to be disappointed.

Stayed for a brief one-nighter, wish it could have been longer. Room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and well maintained. Access into Kingston and surrounding area was super easy. The king sized bed, massive shower, and abundance of natural light/semi private patio all felt super luxurious, not at all what you would expect from a motel. The record player/records in the room was also a super cute touch.

This was a wonderful stay! It is so quaint, clean and cute. You can see how much hard work and love went into renovating this motel into such a special place. It’s right in the middle of lots of activities so a great central location. Don’t be scared by the term “motel”, this is an amazing place!!! Also - the customer service is top notch. We forgot something and they mailed it back to us free of charge. 10/10 stay!
