Hampton Inn Rochester-Greece

All 4 ice machines were broken, only one elevator worked and it was slow and the alarm was always going off. The bathroom door is a bad design. It’s a barn door that rolls to either cover the closet or the bathroom. There’s no lock and I feel like no privacy. I was with a group of teen girls and one actually opened the door on the other one. Clean otherwise. Decent breakfast. Good location

Close to the airport and close to many establishments. It's comfortable and quiet. The place feels cozy and the customer service is good. The rooms are cozy and have what you need. It should be mentioned that you can see the time and use in the furniture. In my case, the bathroom door did not close, they offered me to change but I preferred to stay since in the end we were a couple and this was not a problem for us. I feel that the place has more potential and it would be fabulous if they paid attention to details within the rooms that already need a remodeling or maintenance. Outside of this, I would stay here again, safe and calm.

The staff was nice, especially the breakfast staff. However, the first room we checked into was dirty. Ashes on the wall, stuff splattered on the walls and doors, food matted in the carpet and garbage under the bed. We asked to get a new room and the only available room was a king room with a sofa bed. This room was cleaner. The reason we picked this hotel was for the pool. We walked into the pool area and it smelled like stagnant water (fishy smell). It was green and definitely wasn’t up to code with chemicals. I tried to speak with a representative online and they brushed me off.

The front desk clerk, pretty black girl hair braided to the back with burgundy streaks. I don’t want to butcher her name “equalites” she’s such a sweetheart. Great attitude, beautiful smile, and gave me two mouthwashes for free when she could have charged me. I really appreciate her services. Amazing customer service. She helped assisted me around 1:36 p.m. Sunday, Feb 23rd. Thank you boo 💕

Most staff were friendly, though front desk worker was unfriendly and seemed confused. Conditioner was not filled and there were not enough towels and no extra blankets in the room. When we called to get more blankets & towels, we were told to get them at the desk ourselves. I had to go in search of a housekeeping staff for the conditioner, and she had to go to find it for me. Food was good, especially the waffles & sausages!

If I could give them 0 stars I WOULD. We checked in late, ate at the table, showered and got in bed. I woke up, flipped the blanket back and was greated my a huge disgusting stain on the blanket. Once I moved the blanket a little more, I uncovered a RAT OR MOUSE TURD. We IMMEDIATELY gathered our stuff and checked out. I made sure to grab the card of general manger Karen Ashton. I showed the staff the photos and they told me to email Karen. So I did. Karen's response was to tell me they "investigated" and found even MORE STAINS ON THE SHEETS (I learned i slept in an unturned bed!!!) have determined I LEFT the stain on the bed. When I told her I absolutely DID NOT and asked "what about the rat turd?! Did I pop that out too?!" She ignored me. She refused to refund me and I had to go through corporate to get a resolution. This hotel and the company have TERRIBLE customer service. 0/10 and Karen blaming her guests is absolutely disgusting and insulting. They're lucky i cannot post photos on here!!!

This was the best hotel we stayed at out of 3 for our trip. The room was clean but small, everything looked well maintained. Staff checked me in and out quickly and gave good restaurant recommendations. The Mexican place was good, big portions! We had to unplug the fridge but we had the best sleep here. Everything was comfortable. Breakfast was great. All the best part was complimentary coffee and tea around the clock. It feels wonderful coming back to a cup of hot camomile tea. It's a short drive to the Strong Museum and I think the drive is worth staying here. Target and Wegmans just a short drive away as well.

Positive: "" Negative: The pool was green and gave my children a rash and bacteria infection . There was not hot tub like advertised. The staff was very rude and said they don't accept visa for incidentals. Our room was not clean and the bathtub was rusty
