Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Cincinnati Midtown Rookwood

Checked into room 702 for 3 nights from 22 May through 24 May of 2025 to attend a couple Cincinnati Reds games. We stayed in room 702 (a King Bed Suite), which (advertised) included a fridge, microwave, and mini-bar. Their house room was spacious, clean, and for the most part; comfortable. Zachary checked us in, and seemed pleasant enough. Our room (housekeeper?) named Monique was amazing. She was able to secure us 2 pillows that were (more firm) “better” than the 2 that were originally on the bed. This kind gesture made our otherwise GOOD stay, and EXCELLENT one. We would stay again. Great value for the price. The “included” (hot) breakfast was even above average. Carol (the breakfast attendant), was lovely and very helpful. A great little hotel convenient (less than 12 minutes by car) to the Zoo, and GABP and many other parts of downtown Cincinnati.

Front desk was so welcoming and helpful as soon as we walked in. There was no waiting around. Zachary was on top of it! The room was clean and spacious! & the bathroom had an endless amount of towels! So convenient! Will definitely stay again!

We were in town for a ballgame. We went to 1 of the 2 rooms ready before game. Room was very nice king bed and sofa bed.large walk in shower.We go to them game come back to hotel some of the lights didn't work then remote shades didn't work had to go to front desk they came to the room.Said they would give us blankets to cover the 2 windows. Staff was very nice breakfast wasn't very good.we ended up going out for breakfast

I travel for work, I also travel from Ohio to California as my 9y/o son lives there. Needless to say, I have had WAY too many bad experiences in hotels so I tend to research for hours til I’m exhausted finding the “perfect hotel”. I was a bit skeptical of the hotel considering it didn’t have many reviews because it’s somewhat newer but felt as if I should leave a review. This was by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in Ohio for work. I stayed in room 402. Zachary checked me in and was very polite, professional and created small talk. Hospitality is a huge part of a hotels success & I felt very safe. My room was quiet, the TV (although a previous reviewer left a negative review about it being mounted crooked 😆) is something you can actually tilt/move around yourself to your liking.. tilt it toward the bed, tilt it towards the couch, it doesn’t matter, just don’t rip it off the wall lol. Anywho, it was by far the best sleep I have gotten in a long time. The comforter, pillows, everything is so comfy. I wish I could take it all home. Thank you for a great stay!!

We had an excellent experience at the Hampton Inn and Suites midtown|Rookwood|Cincinnati. Staff was helpful and friendly. The manager on duty, Zachary, welcomed us warmly, even though it was a last minute reservation.|We had a lovely studio suite on the top floor and it was pristine: brand new, and fresh. Bed was comfortable and the studio suite thoughtfully laid out with great storage. The location was convenient to Hyde Park Square and the Rookwood shopping area. Housekeeping is every other day. The staff made our stay so enjoyable. I am quite surprised to see the negative reviews. We felt safe and secure and the location cannot be beat.

Great hotel, nicely and recently redone with a pool onsite. Rooms are nicely updated also and have state of the art tvs which allows you to access your Netflix and stuff. Gym was adequate, two treadmills and a free weight set. Meeting rooms on site also. There is a large retail center with restaurants and shops on the same block. The only negative I can think of is they charge for parking.

We stayed here for a family wedding and were very happy with the spacious king sweet and the free breakfast. Most importantly with the amazing service when my son accidentally locked my husband out of the room after the wedding. My son & I went to bed early, turned on our sound machine and fell hard asleep. My husband came back to find my son had turned the deadbolt. After being unable to reach us via call, text, calling the room phone or knocking he got the manager, Robbin, to see what could be done @2am. She was unable to open the door with the deadbolt on so she found him another room last minute. We can’t thank her enough.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have never been treated so poorly by a front desk manager in my life. You would think an Army veteran would know how to treat people with respect. And as a manager, you'd assume she would know how to listen to her guests regarding a simple miscommunication on her colleague's end instead of accusing us of wrongdoing. She drove us out and we ended up staying at a nicer, friendlier, less expensive hotel.
