Comfort Suites Cincinnati University - Downtown

Rooms empty and the manager said that booking is full and it opens in August 2025 and it's February. It looks really nice from the outside and I'm confused why it would considered a hotel be a if it's not for all guest with empty rooms and empty parking lot! This hotel should definitely take this internet advertisement online down because it's very misleading information and time waisted by traveling to the hotel. Seems like it's not opened to certain class of people most likely, and the front door was locked with a note. I had to call the Manager to ask what was going on and he seemed to have the place lock down with not very many occupants/guest saying that they don't have rooms until August 2025. Very strange. And the hotel is nearly close to the downtown area so I didn't get a good vibe from this hotel at all! I can add pictures soon as possible.

My stay exceeded all expectations. The hotel staff were warm, welcoming, attentive and helpful. I would like to especially mention the GM Josh and Leslie for their excellent service. Their dedication to providing excellent service truly made me feel like a valued guest. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel clean and comfortable. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, a testament to the hotel's commitment to excellence. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this remarkable hotel.

To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. From the moment I entered the room, it was apparent that cleanliness was not a priority. The floor was covered in dust, and the bathroom had stains on the tiles. It left me questioning the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. Furthermore, the noise level in the room was unbearable. I could hear every conversation and movement from the neighboring rooms, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. Even the street noise seeped through the poorly insulated windows, adding to the overall discomfort. The lack of attention to detail and the evident disregard for customer comfort was truly disheartening. I had hoped for a relaxing and peaceful stay, but instead, I was constantly reminded of the subpar conditions. Additionally, when I approached the staff regarding my concerns, their response was far from satisfactory. They seemed indifferent to my complaints, offering no solution or apology for the inconveniences faced. Considering the price tag associated with this hotel, I expected a certain level of quality and service, which unfortunately fell far short of my expectations. I would strongly advise potential guests to seek alternative accommodations, as the noise and uncleanliness of the rooms overshadow any potential positives this hotel might have. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.

This place has the potential to be great...good location to downtown, gated free parking area, modern, free breakfast, good WIFI...BUT IT'S NASTY!!!! The housekeeping there or lack thereof is the worst I have ever seen and we travel almost monthly!! I would have definitely not stayed here after I walked into my room but it was a late checkin for us after driving all day so we were so tired plus I had prepaid over $200 for a king suite room. We would not even walk on the floor without socks or shoes on until we were in the bed which was the ONLY thing that was clean...had clean sheets. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning pronto!!!

The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been any sweeter. Totally made us feel like family and very welcome. The hotel appears to be very new and is in immaculate condition. Two bed room was super clean, with a nice sofa area, sharp looking furniture and a very clean bathroom. I would gladly return here without hesitation.

Went to this hotel for a quick trip with family. Things I didn't like 1. Bedsheet had stains 2. The couch had stains. 3. The most frustrating part is even 30 minutes prior to the closing of breakfast, the breakfast attendant never wanted to refill the egg patties. She in fact told clearly. The only reason I choose Choice Hotel is because of their hot breakfast and if this is not provided then I will take my business elsewhere. Positives, 1. Good Parking spaces 2. Frontdesk staff Jasmine was very responsive.

The hotel and room were clean and updated. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was much better than expected for the cost. The location is perfect for anyone needing to be at the University of Cincinnati early in the morning! The only negative was the murky/discolored pool. It was well worth the money we paid for this room.

The girl at the front desk (jingra on the statement) was so pleasant and accommodating! She offered us the use of the laundry cart because all of the other carts were unavailable. She was very uplifting and inviting. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay!
