SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown

First time at this location and I worked with an agent at the Front Desk I believe whose name was Lakeisha. I had received several flight delays and almost didn’t think I was going to be able to make it in time. Lakeisha kept open communication with me and assured my room would still be available for check in. When I arrived she was very friendly and met all my accommodations. She provided me a glass of lemon water right before I headed to the elevator as well. This location was very clean and well organized and is super convenient to Downtown and Clifton area. I definitely recommend booking your stay here based upon convenience, sanitation, and dealing with a friendly staff. The value is also very great for the location! We used ride share our entire stay here as well.

Very happy with the room! Kid friendly! Amazing staff! Shout out to Keisha who went above and beyond for my family during our stay!! The kids LOVED the pool as well! Yummy & Hot continental breakfast!!! Will definitely be returning!

Close to Cincinnati Children’s hospital. Courteous check in. Front desk had several responsibilities and had to leave for more than 10 minutes allowing a line to form at desk. He did a great job managing. Stayed in room 206 and expected 2 queens and a double bed but had a pull out sofa. We had to request sheets which had to be retrieved from laundry room. The sliding bathroom door does not provide privacy not closing completely. The main door allows light and noise under the as it does not seal. Will stay again just not in this room across from elevators. Bathtub is a fall hazard as it is very slippery. Should provide a rubber mat. Happy to have a tub offered for child to bath right before bed. Good hot water with soap etc provided. Breakfast is a little more than continental with great selections. Appreciate this hotel.

Brother-in-law had open heart surgery at Christ Hospital just last week and this hotel is literally two turns away so that was our reason for choosing, but your main reason to choose should be because of the excellent staff, starting with Cierra whom we can't thank enough. Literally everyone working there was nice, helpful, caring, always a smile when you're coming and going.Our room was clean, comfortable beds, great water power in shower and the morning breakfast is just great. I really can't say enough about our experience because it's the people working there that make the difference! Is it an older hotel and could use some spiffing up, yes, but it's old downtown Cincinnati! Lastly, another plus is you are minutes away from charming Mount Adams for some great food! Thanks for making our stay great under the hospital circumstances. ❤️

The location and access to this hotel is great for vacationing. It was part of the reason we picked this. BUT there are a few things that could be improved. There was a review that said it appeared well kept until you look at the details. Our room too had a fridge that was not quite keeping things cold - it is a small refridgerator but with all of the traveling we have done we know there are better small options out there that not only work but have small freezer option. (Small freezer will help those who bring their own coolers with ice packs). Glass was missing from the desk area and the trim throughout the room was banged up. The worst for us was the beds. Very uncomfortable and tight for a queen size. Just uncomfortable mattress. Breakfast is there - most people will find it a fine option.||If in the area it will still remain on our list for the convience of location and being a reliable chain.

The people at the front desk were very kind, and the rooms upon arrival appeared to be clean and ready to receive guests. The complimentary hot breakfast wasn’t that great- my husband got a sausage that didn’t seem to be completely cooked. However over all it was standard for hotels that offer complimentary breakfast. Our biggest complaint was that when we left for the day and came back, we were met with some very odd house keeping. Only one bed was made and only one trash can emptied. The soaps and hand towels in the restroom were replaced but otherwise nothing else seemed to have been cleaned. We actually didn’t want house keeping to come in but we couldn’t find the “do not disturb” door sign so we just left. We had the same thing happen in another spring hill suits in IL- upon checking in, one bed was not made and the trash can was not emptied from the previous guest. Thought that maybe being in a different state, hundreds of miles away, things would be different but apparently something going on with Springhill suits housekeeping.

The room was *fine* |You could tell someone broke the slider that was supposed to separate the desk and bed (whatever) I went to turn on the shower and the handle fell off. Then people next to us had their music BLARING all night.. so we turned the AC up a bit but it sounded like someone was spraying our window with a hose. I don’t blame the hotel for the people next to us - but the AC sounding like a jet plane made it the worst hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast wasn’t bad, for being free.

I had the pleasure of working with Cierra to book a school trip (about 40 rooms in total for 2 nights each). Communication was great throughout the process. The stay was great, and the staff made sure all of the needs were met while there. Cannot recommended this hotel enough! Thank you!
