★★★★★This hotel management and staff go above and beyond to make your stay great. We stay here a lot when going to the Cleveland Clinic and they are wonderful! They also have great rates for the Cleveland Clinic. The only negative is the new parking charge. I guess that’s what they must do but when staying a lot, the $14.50 per night is excessive. They have a great breakfast and everything is always clean. The Cleveland Airport Comfort Inn should take lessons from this hotel. We feel like family at the Downtown Comfort Inn.

★★★Hotel rooms need remodeled, patch work on walls unpainted. Sofa bed very outdated, springs popping through mattress (had to get blankets from desk to lay on). If concert across street, parking lot is used, so if you are not already parked, there are no parking spaces (which I paid for through the hotel). The positives were staff was very accommodating and breakfast was good.

NillRoom was absolutely terrible. There was human fecal matter drops on the ground that we didn’t discover till morning after we started stepping in it. It was horrifying and we were scared to walk on the floor the whole time. The soap bottles in the shower were absolutely tiny as well, smaller than shot glasses. Most of the larger towels had pee stains on them as well and we often had to dry ourselves off with our clothes. The room was just a terrible. The hotel is in a good location however, with several options for food close by and access to the city. Service was terrible as well, I had to stand at the desk for several minutes several times waiting for an employee to come, and half the time when they did show up they wouldn’t take their AirPods out and barely spoke to me. The food was bland and there was no options as well. I have Included pictures of the pee towels below.

NillIf you're looking for a two person jacuzzi it is not here. Everything else was wonderful. Staff were great and helpful, parking was easy, but the two person jacuzzi tub was just a one per one jet tub unless you sit side ways with your legs hanging out the tub.

NillTried to run a shower handle spins in a 360. Drove over 300 miles and told the manager I was crashing for the night and he came to inspect the shower. Although as I told him just bc it works doesn't mean it's right. So as a former property manager I checked the ptac unit and the filter was filthy as well. As I said before just because something is functional doesn't mean it's correct and for the price you're paying vs the quality of the rooms I highly do not recommend this place.

★★★★★I had an appointment for preop at Cleveland Clinic on Nov 18 1100am with surgery on Nov 19 at 10am. We arrived 10:00 and the reception lets us check in and catch their 10:15 shuttle. The hotel is 2 miles from the clinic and the hotel has, shuttles every hour starting at 7:15 am_- 8 pm with pickup at Clinic 7:30 am etc. The hotel has special rate for Clinic patients which is a bit less than hotels closer. The location may seem inconvenient but the shuttle makes a difference and there are more restaurants since you are in Play house Square. I would suggest if you are spending weekend and going to play this is 1 block from Theatres.|Back to room, hotel has a Subway restaurant attached so its bread smell tends to linger in rooms, we were on 5 th floor. The bathroom is rather small and toiletries were 2 small bars soap, small bottles shampoo and conditioner and tube of lotion. We see this in other hotels so nothing extreme. Hopefully they will go to body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in shower..|The bed was comfortable. Road noise was evident but not objectionable|My wife had breakfast and said was good.|Checking out after surgery we asked for late checkout 1 pm but due to surgery we didn't get back until 4:45. They didn't charge extra only said we understand and no problem, same was said by parking lot no extra charge.|Super nice place, would stay again if in Cleveland.

NillThe one star reviews that are on top are incredibly misleading. This isn't a fancy hotel, but you are not paying fancy hotel prices to stay here. The rooms are fine, its a little dated but everything is still very livable. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean, it has reasonable downtown parking prices, and still has an included breakfast. What you lose in fanciness you gain in being right next to A TON of tourist stops and good restaurants. Hope this helps the people who are reading the one stars and having panic attacks

★Horrible experience, felt unsafe with 2 small child. I asked for another room.due the room next to me ,with loud music, screaming and fight. They would not relocate me to another room, front desk and management were rude, parking was Horrible. Paid $20 to park and was unable to access the lot and had to park 2 blocks away. Horrible hotel! Never stay at another Choice hotel again
