Stone Gables Inn

We had such a wonderful stay at the Stone Gables Inn. It’s located in a really neat neighborhood with lots of dining , shops and night life within walking distance. The Manson itself was amazing. The common areas are welcoming and clean. Way cooler than a boring hotel. We stayed in the Damon room. The bed was a dream and I really enjoyed the deep whirlpool tub. The host Provided excellent instructions great customer service and went out of his way to be kind accommodating. I also loved that the parking is in a locked lot. Why state a boring chain when you could stay at this beautiful property.

My husband and I spent 1 night at the Stone Gables. It was a great location, easily walkable to restaurants and The Bop Stop where we enjoyed a jazz performance. We loved the easy access and privacy. Our room was located on the second floor with an adjacent common room, which was a nice place to sit and read. The common kitchen/dining area on the first floor was well appointed and huge! My biggest complaint would be the bathroom in our room. The tub and sink were not in great shape and the paint job was sketchy, with missed areas where fixtures had been removed. It just gave a less than 5-star aesthetic. Also, the bed was beautiful, but the mattress was not super comfortable to me. But that is all relative as different desires apply. Overall, a pleasant stay! The host was prompt with information and friendly.

We were moving my daughter out of a local apartment and needed a place to stay the night before heading out of town. The Stone Gable Inn was perfect. Proximity to Ohio City, charming rooms with all the amenities and so much better than an institutional hotel. Had great communications from the property regarding parking our moving truck. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience staying at Stone Gables Inn. I travel a lot for work and the inn was a nice change of pace for me. Much more affordable than the hotels in the area and my room was probably nicer. The house itself was beautiful, well-kept and clean. Very cozy and a lot quieter than I was expecting for an old house so that was nice. Ample off-street parking that was big enough for my large work vehicle to navigate in and out of. The Neiborhood itself was nice. I felt perfectly safe walking to and from a few restaurants and bars in the area. Also, Craig the owner, was very nice and answered all my questions in a timely manner. All and all a great stay and will try to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Stone Gables Inn. It was clean, quiet, and a great location with parking. The decor was thoughtful, and we learned a lot about Cleveland and the historic house. It's a great alternative to a high rise chain!

Wow! First time in Cleveland and in looking at hotels they were expensive and some wanted $40-$55 a night for parking. We tripped over Stone Gables while looking at Google maps, read the reviews and jumped at it. First the location is great, walkable to shops, restaurants and a quick drive or Uber to attractions. . The room we had (Tipton) was wonderful with a sitting room, small dining table for 2, in addition to the very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We picked up some groceries for breakfast and made use of the very fully equipped and stocked kitchen. After years of travelling in many rental accommodations, this is the best we have stayed in. Oh yes, the parking is a fenced well lit lot, locked over night and free! We used the money we saved with free parking to pay for a great dinner at a pizza place the host recommended. Highly recommended!

We stayed a night at Stone Gables Inn - Cleveland. The communication was very clear for check-in and check-out. The building was beautifully decorated with old-world charm while still being modern. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept great on the soft bed. We also enjoyed the little touches you don't normally get with a hotel stay, such as bottled water in the room and not only coffee available but cream as well. Our only disappointment was that we had just one night there. On our next visit to Cleveland, we will most definitely choose Stone Gables Inn again. Thanks, Craig!
