Holiday Inn Express Columbus - Dublin, an IHG Hotel

I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel seemed brand new but was in fact not. However, It was very up to date on modern fixtures in bathroom and was very clean throughout. Each queen bed had 4 pillows and they were comfortable along with the soft sheets and comforter weight was just right. Temperature control was perfect and not noisy. Plenty of space and plug ins. Refrigerator was cold. Tv had extra channels like 4 HBO and 4 Cinemax for free. There was plenty of everything we needed in the room and it was very quiet. Great location, there was a great pizza Italian restaurant on the other side of the parking lot called Luna Pizza and was delightful. Guest check in was easy and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Price was better than other hotels in the area especially with last minute booking and AARP discount helped. We did not partake in breakfast.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the free breakfast. They had a good variety. The staff kept the food out and the area clean. Some of the breakfast options included: Cinnamon rolls, muffins, omelets, pancakes, sausage, milk, almond milk, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels, coffee, and a lot more. Our family made a mess at breakfast and when we finished we were cleaning up and the hotel staff was already on it. Had the broom ready and rag to clean the table off. You could tell they cared about their hotel and the customers. Overall we were greatly impressed with the hotel, staff, and free breakfast.

This is our second stay here when visiting Columbus/Dublin. We love it! Very clean in all areas. Rooms clean and quiet. No bed bugs or evidence of bed bugs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was warm and clean. Breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but great for being included with your stay. They had omelets, sausage links, biscuits and sausage gravy, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, toast/bagels, coffee, and juice. They kept the food hot and readily available. Walmart very close by for anything you may need. About a 3 minute drive to the Dublin Link and all the stores/restaurants they offer there. We will always choose this place, you should too!

Excellent Property. Everything was extremely clean! The hospitality from the staff was outstanding! The room felt brand new and then I was told that the renovation was three years ago! This is testament to the efforts the property makes to deliver a great guest experience! And, Yes, I had a GREAT guest experience! I highly recommend this property!

Walking into this hotel is a breath of fresh air; you can immediately sense the freshness and cleanliness, allowing you to unwind. Upon entering my assigned room, I was pleasantly surprised to find it pristine and impeccably cleaned, confirming my initial relief and expectations. The comfort of staying at a well-kept property is difficult to put into words. The beds are invitingly cozy, and the linens emit an undeniable freshness. Breakfast is a highlight, featuring a wide selection of items to suit various tastes, making it both convenient and enjoyable for guests. Additionally, the heated pool adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience, perfect for relaxation and leisure. The staff here is exceptional; they are always eager to assist and go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The housekeeping team stands out for their attentiveness, ensuring that all needs are met promptly. This Holiday Inn truly embodies the IHG promise, going above and beyond in every aspect of service. Moreover, the location is incredibly convenient, situated near major highways that facilitate easy travel. A shopping mall is just a three-minute drive away, and a Walmart is within walking distance, making errands and necessities effortlessly accessible. There are numerous dining options in the vicinity, as well as entertainment venues like Scene 75, an arcade and bar that provides a fun outing for families. Overall, this hotel not only meets but surpasses expectations in every category, creating a delightful and memorable stay for all its guests.

The number one thing I remember from staying at this hotel is there is little to no soundproofing - it's very loud. In fact, so loud that the management makes sure that the public lounge area off the lobby is closed and completely empty by 10pm every night. I was assigned a room underneath loud, young kids (stampeding, screaming, crying) - they were loud from 6:15am until at least 9pm, then the parents would stomp around until 10pm. You'd think the management would know not to put young kids on the 3rd/top floor under any circumstance, and reserve those rooms for their guests with plenty of loyalty status. The hotel was sold-out so my only option was to find another hotel and leave the group I was there with. Not a good hotel for groups as there's no place to gather after hours. I booked an oversized room but that could only accommodate maybe 6 people, and the 32" TV is only viewable from the bed(s) so watching a football game at night wasn't an option there either. The front desk staff is fantastic but has little power to resolve issues or deal with some of the management's quirks that aren't guest/customer-service forward. The breakfast staff is very prompt, abrupt, and curt closing up exactly on-time; don't bother asking for a napkin at the last minute, you'll be directed somewhere else. The building does look pretty new and is clean. Otherwise, it's a pretty typical Holiday Inn Express. It's highly unlikely that I'll return. (My perspective comes from extensive enough travel for business and leisure to have the extremely high loyalty status across three different hotel chains.)

10/10 recommend! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Hot breakfast and the hours were very convenient. Heated pool prefect for entertaining my kids! Located close to various restaurants and events. Our room was spacious and clean.

Excellent place to stay with our dog. Room placement shows concern for all guests. Very much appreciated the policy of a $50 charge per stay v a daily charge. Made our decision to stay there. Would like to see recycling instructions in the breakfast area. Everyone just dumps it into both receptacles. Found out the hard way that the coffee cups in the lobby are not microwaveable in the room….. they smoke and could catch fire. Please keep the lobby coffee hot. See you again soon!
