NillThis party hotel books through booking.com. don't book. I had to cance within 24 hrs of booking because this hotel is not appropriate for families and they will not refund me my $3500. I have to lose this money and I will not be going. Don't book here!!

NillLobby had a funny smell, elevator is sketchy, only way to get drinking water was to go down to the lobby to the drinking fountain. Had to turn the AC unit on right away and it kept the room tolerable but not cool enough. Room with 2 queen beds had lights that were very dim and poorly placed. It was actually quiet in the room despite the night club down the hall.

NillBASIC but nice and pleasant staff DESPITE what some of these recent reviews say!!!! I felt compelled to leave a review here bc I truly feel the recent ones are fake. My past activity on my reviews will show I am not :) Husband and I decided to spend a night on the Island after visiting our new friends Brew and Rest close by. I want to be clear on a few things, this spot is basic absolutely no bells and whistles but it is clean and has whats needed. Also they are on the strict side of things such as higher damage refundable deposit upon check in and also strict on the amount of bath towels u can have at one time (we did have 2 small thin bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 cloths at check in. Asked for some additional told we needed to bring used ones back). Nvr did locate pool towels. I truly feel these particulars have to do with the negatives they often have to put up with in the public. I saw people around this island who seemed to not care about how they act including the care of or lack there of, of other peoples property. We felt the front office staff who were all young were very pleasant during our stay and as far as towels were only following what their job expectations ask of them. (I applaud these young folks seeking employment). The housekeeping staff were also pleasant and accommodating. Also a maintenance man assisted us in the hallway and also pleasant experience. We also saw him at one time in the front office he remembered us and another pleasant interaction. The few staff working the extremely large walk up pool bar played great music worked very hard and had smiles on their faces throughout. Everything in this area very clean including bathrooms. The location of this hotel we feel was nice. A bit off the main street path but maybe a 3 min walk, across the street from the nicer restaurant spots and right next door to the islands only grocery. I will end by saying Im particular with hotels my pref is a Marriott or Hyatt group for which this Island does not have. We took a chance and were pleased with decision. Thank you GIH

NillI don't want to be too harsh on my review here but I have to be honest, if this was 125$ a night the rating would bump up, but 430$USD a night for what you get is robbery. Pros: -great location, close to the docks, close to the bars and restaurants -Splash is the pool you get access to, even though it appears as a seperate business on Google maps, but it's great. Lots of room, good bartenders, drinks aren't watered down. Excellent party on a Saturday. -the wifi is fast Cons: -rooms are barebones to say the least. 1 bed, 1 table with 2 wood chairs, 1 armoire that is at the foot of the bed making a 1ft gap to squeeze through when going from one side of the room to the other. I debated on moving it but didn't want to get in trouble. The room is giant, but empty. Why arrange it this way. -no fridge -no recliner or anything to fill in the giant empty spaces -the AC is meant to be a window unit but it was cut into the wall and there's rags or something shoved around it to stop bugs from getting in. It kept popping it's built in GFCI breaker and I had to reset it a few times to keep it going. -there's oddly placed lamps in the big open spaces which makes me think years past had more furniture but as it wore out they just tossed it and never replaced it. -the bathroom is also tiny for how large the room is. Shower is very dated and dark like a cave with a single low output bulb for light. -the hall is not AC'd and smells like feet. Someone needs to steam clean the carpet during the off season or something. -this one was odd. They do not bring you new towels daily. Ok alot of places haven't since the world went upside down. But it's on you to bring your dirty towels downstairs to the poor front desk clerk and hand them over (imagine if they weren't just covered in water ??). The clerk doesn't have a laundry basket at hand like housekeeping would. The clerk then goes and gets you new towels and you bring them to your room. You can only get 2, no more than that. Towels are not supplied at the pool either. At this point I'm paying 430$ USD to stay at a hotel and I'm now doing their work for them. -there's no phone in the room. Sure hope your cell can call 911 if needed. No need to call the front desk for anything as they don't provide anything to your room (see the towel policy above). -tv is stuck on one channel and won't change. Minor, but it was funny in a way. The staff were friendly and I appreciate that. I just feel like this place is very run down and they don't care for their customers from a business at large standpoint and are coasting on people booking here regardless due to limited options on the island. For the prices I paid I was very un-impressed. Won't be coming back to this hotel.

NillTotally disgusted with this place. After checking in, my friend inspected the room (as she typically does), my friend grabbed the bedspread and flipped it up to check for bedbugs. She noticed something wet on her hands...it was vomit. She was given another room however it was just as disgusting as the first. The floor was dirty, the TV was barely mounted to the wall and the room was sweltering. Instead of allowing her to cancel her reservation without penalty, the hotel made us pay a $400 cancellation fee. We wouldn't have cancelled had the room not had fresh vomit on the bedding. I was completely disgusted and would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone.

NillThe staff especially the manager Annette was amazing! The concern and care she has for her customers was great! The staff via the front desk, the crew that helped with the laundry, trash and the team bartending were all just great! Thank you Logan, Dan, Kyle and Brian you guys rocked it out!!! The location was great and in walking distance to pretty much all you need! Thank you for the great experience!😊

★We didn’t have a great experience. They have no elevator. Night one, had no air conditioning, room extremely uncomfortable. Old outdated rooms. I let front desk know on Saturday AM. SAT 730PM anxious to enjoy swim up bar/hot tub. While I was changing into suit at 730 pm they closed pool.I walked out to check if it closed & door our closed. We werelocked out of room. Went to get a card key to get back in. Front desk, Axle,GAVE us a set of KEYS. I inserted & turned & it broke with no pressure at all. Went immediately back to front desk to be told it wasn’t a room key but GOLF cart keys!!!! Then we were given new card key and we got in room. Shortly later Axle appeared at room door confronts me & calls me stupid for not knowing that key didn’t go to my room & why is my card declining? Earlier in day I’d lost my card on island and had to cancel it. they were trying to automatically charge my credit card $300!! For the broken key! They forced us to remove 300 in cash were rude, intimidating & THEY were the ones who gave us a golf cart keys! Furthermore, we didn’t even have a cart. So it took 2 bouncers & 2 men running front desk. One named Axle with curly hair. Btw I’m 5’2” disabled lady. I was afraid all night. In AM I went to desk, he was still working. Glaring at us. I asked to see mgr. none on duty, was to,d they wouldn’t be in til afternoon but owner was on site. We met owner who said it’s end of season. They don’t normally act that way. No acknowledgment of how much they scared us, intimidated us and he refused to credit us for night lost. We left hotel and island a day early. This experience ruined our visit. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Beware of charges and intimidating men working at night. Very SCARY!

Nilldefinitely an old hotel but they all are. make sure you're a few doors away from nightclub. we were 4 doors away and were fine, door 1 not so lucky. location was perfect with a connected pool and another pool across the alley. very few spots so leave car on mainland. taxi service isn't great on island. they'll get you from ferry to where you need to go but the reverse trip isn't so easy
