Americas Best Value Inn Burns

Good location for why we were here. One room wasn't ready when we checked in though I called and asked when we could, and they said now is fine. We showed up 1 hr later and one of the two rooms wasn't finished. Room was clean though and bed made nicely. Bathroom was clean and stocked. The fridge wasn't cold though.

I’ve stayed here a few times with crews for work, and I enjoy the coziness of the hotel. The patios are nice, and the rooms are good. Some of the AC/heaters could be updated but I’m sure they are doing so with time. The staff are accommodating and kind, and flexible with weird scheduling. Check in and check out is quick and easy. The breakfast is simple, but nice.

The room is lovely with a microwave air conditioner, and oversized mini fridge. Super clean. And downstairs room Have direct access to the parking lot, which is a huge bonus for those like myself traveling with luggage that they need to bring in. They do not have luggage carts or tubs. The woman at the front desk was not friendly when I asked her if they did. I wasn’t rude at all but she sure was unfriendly towards me. So Other than getting attitude when I asked about their amenities, this place is definitely a good spot.

I don’t think people give America’s Best Inn enough attention. The one in Burns, OR is one of the best ones I have ever been in. The room was big, perfectly clean, smelled good and the manager was so nice. The best part was the bed. It was so comfortable. If I pass through again, this is where I will be.

The room was nice. The breakfast was good serving biscuits and gravy. But, the pet fee was $30 per pet. For that fee they didn’t have a descent place to walk pets or bags or garbage cans to put waste.

What an attitude the woman at the front desk had! She had the rudest demeanor ever encountered when checking into a hotel. She was rude to both my husband and myself. My husband walked in first and received a price of $216.00 which included a $25.00 pet fee. Upon consulting with me I went to the front desk and was quoted $184.00 which included a $30.00 pet fee. I questioned the expense of the room as we had stayed there several times before over the years and never paid this much. She rudely replied “I don’t make the rules”. It occurred to me if she doesn’t make the rules why were we quoted two different prices. If you value simple courtesy I would not recommend this overpriced motel. If I could give less than a one star rating I would but it’s not an option.

Positive: Friendly desk person, assigned my requested room location, breakfast was available ahead of published time Negative: Too few tables for breakfast. Noisy refrigerator. Could have used another blanket.
