NillIt is not often angels come around. But the little lady who owns this quaint little motel was one for us. Sweet and funny. An absolute wonderful woman!! Decently priced. (Pay with cash, it’ll help her out more) It’s a small little stop. Right off the exit and a small walk will take you to the cafe (also has really good sweet potato fries) and the local gas station! Warm rooms, comfy beds and fluffy blankets!! Thank you so very much!! Aly/Adam!

NillExquisite location to ski Anthony lakes. Warm well maintained rooms on the inside even if outside is a bit rough and excellent value.

NillWe recently stayed at the North Powder Motel while skiing at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort. We knew that the motel would provide a very humble accommodation for our ski weekend, since we had viewed it previously on our trips through the area. It was that. We did get a bed (double) to sleep in, heat that kept us warm, and a hot shower. We also got extremely shoddy furnishings and bedding, rust in the hot water, and a property that is in desperate need of a good clean-up (there were 2 vehicles parked outside our room that were broken down). My advice to the owner: we would love to use your facility on a more regular basis. For us to do that, however, you MUST CLEAN IT UP and conduct much needed upgrades. Please use the money you made from our stay and, at the very least, buy new bedding! A fluffy duvet with a coverlet would serve nicely. And remove all the extranneous, unnecessary items from the room: a large table with 3 chairs (when only 2 sleep in the room?), old chair pillows, two TVs that do not work (at least we could not find a remote, nor figure out how to work them), that HUGE wardrobe piece of furniture in the bathroom that blocks the closet, and the ice bucket (where are you going to get ice?!?) And, reduce the price. The room really shouldn't cost more than $60.00 per night--which is probably what the walk-in truckers are charged, right? Please, please help us like your establishment. You're a lovely person, but you have to do better with this property.

NillThe 70 plus year old lady Taking care of rooms and cleaning was the owner. Her being the management I found to be very polite and kind. The room was clean with good hot water AC that worked well with the outside temp at 110. TV with lots of channels and a comfortable bed.The room was a little tight but worked OK for the 2 nights we stayed. When possible I prefer to support small business. Next time we head that way we will definitely book a room and stay again.

NillA classic roadside inn of americas west. The owner Kim is a sweet lady, she will do whatever she can to make your stay enjoyable. She gave me a jar of homemade kimchi. When is the last time the front desk host gave you a jar of kimchi at the Marriott? That’s what I thought. If you’re conked from a day of skiing this is the place to go.

NillKim (the owner) is so kind and sweet! I was able to get a room despite calling last minute/late in the evening. The room was clean and has everything you need (fridge, microwave, wifi, hot shower!). I am so glad I stayed here and will stay again if I’m ever back in the area in the future!

★★★★While the rooms may be dated and the exterior doesn't look like much, this motel was just perfect for what I needed: proximity to Pilcher Reservoir, hot shower, clean room, comfy bed, dog friendly, at a more than reasonable price. The owner Sung is very friendly and helpful and her personalized touch definitely was welcome in this age of faceless automation. And despite being dog friendly, there were no unpleasant canine odors in the room. The AC could have been a little cooler but I got a good night's rest all weekend long. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and she even sent a handwritten thank you card after my stay. Will definitely stay here again if I pass this way in the future.
