Budget Lodge Milwaukie Inn

I stayed here for one night when I booked off Expedia about 2 weeks ago. When I checked in they told me they had to place a hold on my card (not stated in the Expedia listing) but assured me that it will be returned within 3-5 business days. Two weeks later and still haven’t gotten it back. Bank says the hold is on the motel’s discretion and only they can release the hold. Tried calling and nobody answered. Pretty much going to avoid this place from now on.

Overall this place is a hair pricey for the location. 99E/McLoughlin Boulevard isn't the greatest area. BUT I will say, the room was clean, and the beds for hotel beds were FANTASTIC! A little noise is to be expected given 99E is a main thoroughfare. All in all though, a great place to rest your head.

I have been here several times, but new management won't release the temporary hold or give me a receipt for the security deposit on my bank account. I do not recommend this place to anyone. And the water is not hot. And it's next to a known drug house. And my car was broken into here. It's too bad you've refused to give me a receipt showing that it's been cleared and has a zero balance, and it's not the bank that's holding it. Since your refusal to do a simple thing! Give me a receipt. I've been contacting my bank, and they said they need a receipt. Why is it so difficult for you to reprint? This seems like fraud on your end. It's now the 21st, and you've not released the hold on my card. There's only a 3 day hold allowed in Oregon from my understanding. On the 1st, im taking them to small claims court.

Me and my spouse and 5mon old were there since September there was only 1 good staff member and that was the maid the manager and the female manager are rude he tried to tell me we had to leave if our housing manager didnt pay it then call back to the room 20min later and told me i had to leave in 5min they got almost 10,000 from the time we were there and wouldnt even give us a new key when we lost ours last week

I needed to stay close to my job so I could take someone in for an early surgery. The location was just down the street from work, but it's right on hwy 99E, and it was very loud. The room itself was fine, and the bed was alright.

Horrible! We had a room infested with nonstop flies coming from the vent in our bathroom and it was just overall terrible! The service was awful and we lost our deposit since we were waiting on the front desk person to come check us out and they took so long that it was after checkout time and they told us our deposit was no longer refundable since it was after the checkout time when they finally came back at no fault of our own! We had a jacuzzi room that cost way too much and was not worth the price we paid and losing the cash deposit made it so much worse! Stay somewhere else if you ask ne you'll be glad you did!

Since my last stay the service is better! Room actually looks good. Even though the bed is super weak in a line across the bed, bed is comfortable! Bedding is super nice compared to our stay years ago. The bathroom and sink is still old fashion and out of date. The lady in the office is so sweet, kind and friendly. The guys who checked us in were also helpful and even if one is training they were still pretty friendly and quick at getting is checked in for our room

Overall it was quiet and uneventful. The rooms were not professionally remodeled. Very DIY atmosphere. It's a pretty basic cheap motel. The housekeeper is diligent to say the least, all the staff I have interacted with have been friendly and accommodating.
