NillGreat value. Walking distance to Moda Center and on the light rail line so the entire city is accessible from the front door. Nice view of the city. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Lack of amenities which is reflected in the price. Needs some work (bathroom was outdated and in need of repair) but staff was great. We only stayed for one night so it was suitable for a place to sleep. Hotel charges $17 to park and the parking lot is unsecured and not convenient to access from the front door. 4 stars for service due to that. The front desk staff was great.

NillThe website makes it look so much better than it is. It’s worth it to spend the extra $$ to stay else where. The hotel was gated up from the outside, the rooms appear as if they have not been updated since it was built. It had a really old smell, single pain windows that are right next to the light rail so it sounds like you are outside and can hear the light rail every 15 minutes it passes by. The carpet was so old and stained. It simply just did not feel safe or comfortable to stay in. When we asked to cancel the remaining reservations and requested a refund they said we were on a pay ahead plan that doesn’t allow refunds; we were told they get this very often that the hotel is not what people expect and have a very strict cancellation policy. The hotel did not have hot water the remaining two days we were there; we were comped $17 (one nights parking) for the water being out.

NillThe rooms were last renovated 20 years ago and haven't seen much touch-up since but as long as you know that going in, this is a great deal and a safe and relatively clean hotel. The location is perfect for the Convention center, light rail stop is just outside, and they have a parking garage for 17$ a night. The rooms needs some big TLC but I slept fine and the room was spacious and had everything needed including a bar, microwave, and fridge. Can't beat the price!

NillAlmost 5 stars, the room was nice, smells like an old hotel, convenient location, charming. My only issue is that I stayed here almost 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten my deposit back. I called and was told I'd get a call back a few days ago and never did. The man at the front desk did warn me it would take longer using cash app over another bank when i paid for my room, but I didn't expect it to take this long... also a little disappointing to never get a call back.

NillMy three-night stay with a large group was a comfortable and restful experience. The hotel's location across the street from the convention center was convenient. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. As many other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is older and lacks some of the modern upgrades found in other hotels. However, considering the price, I have no complaints. The views from my room were excellent, and while I did hear the light rail passing, I quickly got used to it. Whenever I needed something, the front desk staff was quick to assist, making me feel safe and comfortable. There are also a lot of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

NillThis was a place to stay! We had a nice view of the city. Room didn’t initially come with hand soap, so I went down and got some at the front desk. Then went back up and took a shower later to realize there wasn’t any body soap (just two kinds of shampoo). Felt like that could’ve been a bit of a slap in the face to bald people :/ But I’m not bald, so whatever. Speaking of hair, the blow dryer was by far my favorite thing about the room! It really got the job done and the little attachment was amazing. I love when a blow dryer is big… like some laser from an old sci-fi movie. The blankets were real thin, and I got a little chilly at night, so maybe ask for another set? There were vending machines on the second floor, which I highly recommend. They’ve got some snacks and bevs in ‘em. I don’t think the room was all that haunted.

NillThe room is clean But very old. Terrible smell in the room, especially in the restroom. I cannot fall asleep because of that smell if I face the wall. I have to face the AC on my bed....My friends also have this bad smell in their rooms so I guess it is impossible to avoid that if you choose to stay here. Other than that things are good. Bed is comfortable. Helpful front desk people. Convenient to go to the conventional center. The noise from MAX is okay on the city view side with ear plug, although the floor kind of shakes some time because of the tram.

NillThe hotel is old and not updated but the price is right and everything is CLEAN! Staff is also nice and can't beat the convenience of the location. Some rooms have a view and you get a fridge and microwave. Not bad at all!!
