No longer a hotel hotel closed down over 4 years ago. Stop callin and coming by to book a room. No vacancy what so ever.

Chose this place upon recommendation from a friend for a cheap and easy getaway to break the monotony. One of the few places in Portland to still offer smoking rooms. It looks like there has been a remodel done recently, which makes it OK. I should’ve booked online as there much better deals than what I was given when I called directly, which feels like a rip off. Most losing will give you the best rate when calling directly anymore. ||||The room was ready at check in time of 3 PM. Check in staff was nice. They present you with a full page of policies to sign that essentially runs down all the felonies and misdemeanors you’re not supposed to commit while on the property. So that gives you insight into what the problems might be in this area.||||In it two queen room, one bed seemed newer and of better quality, the other was springy and poor. Room was clean and didn’t smell to bad for a smoking room. No microwave or hair dryer. (One micro available in the office.) Water was hot and plentiful making for a good shower. The wall unit for heating cooling has a fab You could leave in which was nice. Tv is tiny. ||||Worked for what we needed.

Fine if you just need a quick place to sleep. None of the outlets on lamps or furniture worked, we had to only use the two available wall outlets. Nice new furniture and beds were great, but you could still tell the building was old and needed some repair. Bathroom was very dark with a very loud fan. Heater/air conditioner was not automatic so you either have it on or off. The fridge also did not work. I stayed in the annex as it seemed the main building was for smoking and pets, which was very evident when you entered the smoke scented lobby. Staff was very polite and switched my room right away after asking if I was a non smoker.

May stay here was, for the most part a great experience. The room was not only very clean and smelled nice, but also the interior design was tasteful. Especially for a low-budget motel. Most of the staff were respectful, however some weren't. One of the employees working there came to my room banging on the door and told me " It's time to check out. The sooner the better." It was only one staff member as opposed to the rest of them. So, I gave them 4 stars because respect and professionalism is very scarce in Portland, OR. Also, a lot of the tenants looked very shady and violent, but the motel staff can't help that. But overall, may stay was actually pleasant

We just needed somewhere cheap to stay for 2 nights and it was reasonably comfortable and clean. Could do with a lick of paint but it served a purpose. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful too! It was quite near the train line and that made it really easy to get into the city and back. It didn't have any tea or coffee facilities in the room so you had to go to reception to the coffee area which was a bit of a mission even though I don't usually have much luck using the filter style coffee makers anyway!

After a very long trip my partner and I were made to sit outside for an hour. There were some very comfortable seats in the lobby that we were not allowed to sit at. The man made us wait while he checked in other guests who arrived after us. Our room needed a lot of maintaining and I would not even touch the blanket- I threw it on the floor across the room. All around not a great experience here.

Clean, good price maybe a few transients but not unsafe feeling. They mean business about the deposit. If booking through 3rd party, read all the fine print. 100$deposit absolutely required. Not an issue we had but others checking in at the same time tried to argue it. Front desk lady wasn't having it. But she was very pleasant and efficient.

When I left my room to deal with a family emergency, I left some belongings behind. The manager was kind enough to secure them for me and keep them in Lost and Found until I could return the next day. He did not have to do this, and I'm very grateful. This hotel is a great simple economical hotel near the airport. It's perfect if you just need a bed for the night and they make an effort to keep an eye on the property unlike some of the places nearby. It's not perfect and know how tall is but I think it's an excellent choice to save money over the airport options. The staff is always friendly and helpful and I appreciate you protecting my belongings.
