The Caden Hotel

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, updated, comfortable hotel. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. She was attentive & made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Being a snowy weekend, we really appreciated the wall heaters in both the bedroom & large bathroom. The internet was surprisingly great for a cute little remote town, & the price was reasonable (esp. considering it's the only hotel for many miles)!

Was very thankful to find this gem when we did. My family of six and I were traveling and was in desperate need of a place to stay for the night. We called multiple places and this was the only place with vacancy on our route for the night. Our host Julie was very friendly and kind and not only were we able to find a room to accommodate our large party. She took the time to rearrange the entire room so everyone had a bed to sleep in. We will forever be thankful. Though we were only there for a night we got to see parts of the town. We will absolutely return and with better planning next time :)

We were in town for a family reunion. Vernonia is a super cute area. This hotel is a gem. We were in walking distance of shops and coffee spots. Our room had a portable air conditioner. Room was clean and well stocked with towels. Futon couch. Microwave and coffee maker. We will be back next year!

Truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. My sister and I were in town for a family reunion, and this hotel was perfect for our needs. The rooms were spotless, the best we had on our multi city trip, and we stayed at numerous hotels and resorts. This lovely hotel exceeded our expectations, was so clean, and quiet and comfortable. The manager and staff were all so nice. Small town hotel meeting and exceeding big city accommodations . And we enjoyed the lovely little town of Vernonia, which has a lot of fun shops and great food. Excellent experience.

Needed a place to stay closer to mom's for a few nights, Caden Hotel was right on the money. It was nice and quiet up on the hill. Julie is a fantastic host and manager. We didn't have any issues with our room. When we had arrived and walked in the office Julie greeted us and asked if I was me 🥰. The entire place is a stylish rustic. We plan to come back some time in the future

This is one of the most friendly home like places on the coast The host Julie is super amazing goes way above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy 😊 our room was like home relaxing quite and a swimming hole right behind the hotel within walking distance! Our 4th of July weekend was none the less amazing Thanks Julie 😊

Fantastic gem! The staff (Julie) was welcoming and so friendly. The room was so clean. You could tell it was done by someone that actually cared and wasn't just checking off to do items. It was all the little things that made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. From music playing on the TV when I arrived to the coffee pot and extra toiletries, the personal touches made me feel like a welcomed guest. The mattress was heaven and the sheets so incredibly soft. I slept SO well! If you are looking for a new, modern, starchy place to stay, find a chain, but if you want a homey, welcoming place to enjoy a relaxing, comfortable sleep- this is your place!

The rooms are very spacious clean and they have portable air conditioners which was a big relief this weekend with the highs in the 90s. The hotel is located right in town within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and the river. Biking and hiking trails are in abundance. Highly recommend
