Baymont by Wyndham Hot Springs

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a little over a week. The staff are so nice and very accommodating. 🙂 They have dog friendly units which is great since we have ESA animals. A good idea would be to have a fenced in pet walk/play area. 🐕‍🦺 The room was very clean. Not a spec of dust. The beds were very cozy and comfortable. Although the pillows could have been larger, and a little more firm we did sleep very well. The bathroom was clean, with a clean shower curtain and towels with no stains!!!! The room had a single serve coffee maker, microwave, blow dryer, iron & ironing board and mini fridge. And of course, a TV. 😆 The furniture was solid wood and in good condition. The flooring looked brand new! My husband enjoyed the Continental breakfast, but he did say he wished that they had more options like fresh fruit, larger variety of yogurts and breads ( muffins,bagels etc). They have a heated indoor pool and hot tub, we didn’t use it but, other people seemed to be enjoying it. There is also an outdoor seating and lounging area, it was too cold to enjoy that 🥶 All around we enjoyed our visit to Hot Springs, SD. We had a nice safe place to stay and felt welcome.

I would suggest driving to Rapid City instead of staying here. The management was terrible. I paid $242, which I thought was for 2 bedrooms and 4 beds in a suite for my daughters birthday party, so we could all stay together in one room, and it was just for a queen room with a couch. The rooms are $52/night. I would not have paid that for just a couch in the room. The toilet, we had to take the top off each time to flush it. Our TV did not work and had to have someone come up to get to work. They didn't even mention the pool had been out of order. By this time the hotel clerk and myself were not getting along and he came up to tell us to be quiet when there were kids running down the hallway all night and a huge group of people talking in the hallway. Do NOT stay here!

My stay at this hotel was fantastic. I loved how the 100% smoke-free environment made the air feel clean and fresh throughout the property. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Having free breakfast every morning made starting the day much easier. Highly recommended for families.

Went to the sweat lodge for the VA. we went to our room at the hotel, we walk into the room and it smelled like mold, the carpet was filthy. I wish I would have taken pictures of the filth. The TV had stains running down the screen. We made some coffee in the room and there was some kind of oil on top of the coffee so we poured it out. The fan was on when we walked in and it was 15 degrees outside. There was cold air coming from the window. The breakfast was horrible the coffee pot was also filthy, and the sink had brown stains in it, we didn't dare eat anything. I recommend not booking a room. That's why it was so cheap $52.👎

I have stayed at Baymont by Windham hotels before. This hotel - independently owned and operated - should not be allowed to use this corporate name. It is in a rundown neighborhood, the desk person tried to charge $30 over the advertised rate, the door safety latch was missing, the window was unlocked and almost impossible to close and lock (1st floor room) carpets were old & stained, bathroom ceiling was falling down with water damage, breakfast was awful - eggs tasted rancid, biscuits dry, waffle batter had a strange rancid taste, coffee was weak and tasteless, getting a receipt took forever, 4 and 5 star rave reviews are obviously written by the owner's family - check the names - these should be removed. Avoid this hotel!

We had an amazing stay here. The family rooms were spacious enough for everyone, and the kids loved the indoor pool. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the free parking made traveling easy. Baymont by Wyndham Hot Springs exceeded our expectations.

The rooms were spotless, and the daily housekeeping kept everything fresh. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the hot tub was an excellent way to relax. This hotel is well-maintained and has all the comforts you need.

Horrible stay. Rooms are visibly dirty, all the locks are broken, and the food is disgusting. There is a strong and unpleasant smell penetrating the entire building. I do not feel comfortable or safe in this hotel.
