Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown

My wife and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary with diner out and a night in at the Canopy. It was a wonderful experience! The property had a great vibe with mixing the industrial history of the Sioux Falls Steel District with a modern chic twist. The staff was helpful and informative. Especially Scott Meyer who gave a fabulous welcome and great information on the property and amenities. We had a corner room with a view of the river and Falls Park lit with holiday decor. The view was amazing! Great job on this one.

The Canopy is truly a beautiful hotel. My company was fortunate to hold our annual show at the Canopy in January 2025. Our normal venue was under renovation so we moved here and I am so glad we did. I worked with Jessica Haldeman and she was fantastic. She help get everything we needed for our event and made it seamless. The food was incredible, I would recommend the beef jerky to anyone, and the rooms were gorgeous. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting or just looking for a nice date night in Downtown Sioux Falls. The restaurants in and around the Canopy are great. We at the the Italian Restaurant on site and the food was amazing. If you are looking for a place to host an event their ballrooms are spacious and beautiful and again the service was on point. Reach out to Jessica and her team you won't be disappointed. We plan on coming back next January for sure and can't wait to make this our new venue going forward. Thanks again to Jessica and the entire staff at the Canopy. See you all next year.

We were amazed from the first moment walking into the hotel. The staff was so friendly and polite. The decor and the amount of sitting areas is second to none. You could choose to sit and listen to the piano playing or sit by a roaring fireplace or many other areas. They have a cute coffee shop, beautiful bar, and Italian restaurant. The guest room was super clean and offered everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. There was a beautiful big desk to spread out all our snacks. The bed was so comfortable and cozy, with accent pieces that were unique and pulled in the feel of the Steel District. We loved the bathroom with its privacy door separating the shower/toilet from the sink area. They offered a refillable water container. We liked using that instead of throwing away a bunch of plastic bottles. We enjoyed being able to take a walk to Fall’s Park and to many restaurants and stores. We will definitely plan to stay again.

The new Canopy Hotel Sioux Falls in The Steel District is very modern and has a spacious lofty vibe as soon as you enter.||Colorful accents and lobby plants and artwork are a really nice touch. The Cascata Italian restaurant and bar have a trendy modern vibe and I loved listening to italian pop songs playing. The burger I had at the bar one night was outstanding!||I stayed in a Falls Park View Corner King Room and it had a signed and balcony too.||The in room Nespresso coffee bar and hidden away drawer safe were thoughtfully included.|I enjoyed trying their toiletries by the Apotheke brand for the first time. The scent was “charcoal” and I really liked it.||The robes and slippers are very plush and feel cozy to lounge in.||Shout out to staff throughout the property but especially Mishelly, Corey and Matthew.||Don’t miss exploring downtown shops and cafés on Phillips Avenue. The local historical society has some plaques placed every few blocks!

This hotel is such a great addition to the downtown Sioux Falls area. Our room was amazing, clean, very cool design. The mobile check-in and check-out process was smooth. Walked right to our room upon arrival to the hotel and was ready to settle in. The steel district area also provides plenty of options for food without leaving the immediate area.

This new Sioux Falls hotel (Canopy by Hilton) is the nicest Hilton in town! This brand hotel has great amenities like noon check out and glass water bottles in room to fill up in your floors elevator lobby with filter water for drinking or using in your rooms Nespresso machine. They are very nice fitness, coffee shop, Italian restaurant and bar. Plus, it has a handful of other amazing restaurants within walking distance. The room I had was a normal king, but the hotel desk was very gracious and upgraded me to a Falls Park view, it a beautiful view, especially at night with the parks Christmas lights lit up! Bed and pillows were so comfortable, the room was well put together and decorated, that bathroom, wow, amazing shower! This will be my new go-to Hilton property to stay when I'm in Sioux Falls next.

Wow.....what a great place to stay. The hotel is new but the staff seem to be very experienced. Our room was very clean, everything was up to date, perfect for us. The multiple sitting areas were so nice and friendly. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar with a beautiful coffee place. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sioux Falls.

I had a wonderful stay-cation at the canopy hotel and appreciated the easy access to coffee, cocktails, and dining on the main floor. The hotel is stunning and I come often to get coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. If you’re looking for great coffee, Jaden at Torrent is your girl. She is always so kind and welcoming and makes a delicious coffee. Caleb at the bar makes a wonderful cocktail served with a great conversation. I have had nothing but incredible experiences here with all of the staff and look forward to coming back every time!
