NillOur flight was delayed and we didn’t get to StarStruck until about 2:30 am. The directions were so detailed we found the place with no problem. We enjoyed the audio guide they have for stargazing. It was really windy while we were there and we wished we had clear swim goggles (no joke) to stop the dust from getting in our eyes while we stargazed. StarStruck did a great job anticipating needs, the bed was super comfortable and the the sunrise from the dome was phenomenal. Would definitely come back and spend more time here!!

NillMy husband and I came down to visit Big Bend National Park. We chose this location because of the least amount of light pollution and the cute domes. The lady I booked with was very friendly and helpful. The night sky is breathtaking if it is a clear night. Also, the dome decorations are the cutest. The area is peaceful and perfect for star gazing. Our only complaint is the road coming in before your first turn. That first road is pretty rough and requires slow speed to avoid shaking your vehicle.

Nill100% recommend. We stayed in dome 1 for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was amazing. Space was clean and well stocked and it was very dark at night. Stargazing was amazing even with the clouds! It was unlike any other experience! PLEASE make sure to be well-prepared though as there is a good 20 minute drive through dirt roads. The night we got there our tire popped due to a stray razor blade. So make sure you have a ready-to-go spare as the nearest tire shop is in Alpine (1 hour away). Also we really enjoyed the Lost Mines trail and loved that it wasn't a far drive from the campsite to get to it.

NillHad a wonderful 4-night stay at Starstruck Glamping. Easy access for Big Bend day trips and the rustic location made for a fantastic dark sky experience every night. The outdoor kitchen, grill and fire pit were a nice complement to the comfortable furnishings inside the dome.

NillMy husband booked us a weekend at StarStruck Glamping for our 4th anniversary. We had a great experience! It was right between camping and not camping. The location was far away from everything, like camping, but with the creature comforts from home, like a bed, running water, electricity, and hot showers. The room was nice, modern, and well kept. You will need to bring your own food stuffs, but everything needed to cook is there. The bed was firm but comfortable. It was a great getaway from everything. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Words cannot describe the majestic beauty of the sky at sunrise, sunset, and at night. The set up for stargazing was perfect! They thought of everything. There's nice lounge chairs to lay back and enjoy the stars. I would definitely recommend this kind of trip for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, but not necessarily being IN the outdoors.

NillWe enjoyed the view of the skies, were able to see 4 planets, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter snd Mars. Also, stars much dimmer than we normally see. It was so wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary, we enjoy the night sky 16 years ago in eastern Colorado.

NillThese folks are doing it right. They provide everything you need to be in such remote place. We were there Dec 7th for two nights in Dome 4. It gets hot in the afternoon and cold at night. It was nice to a AC/heating unit when needed. The fire pit is really nice. The best star viewing was super early in the morning 3-4 am. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked. We used the grill, microwave, frig, sink outside had warm water. Four microwavable frozen dinners is about all you can fit into the freezer. Bring plenty of water to drink and wash dishes. Best navigation was Google maps. Just turn it on and don’t touch it or run a bunch of apps in the background. You won’t be able to search while driving. But Google maps will show you the off-road street names to follow but there are no street signs. Good job star struck.
