NillAvoid staying at this “EMBARRASSY” as they make you feel like nearby Econo Lodge and La Quinta are far better and 5 star worth. This is a rundown hotel. Bugs welcomes you there in BR and bathroom in the mornings. I didn’t kill it but just prevented me from freaking out by limiting its movement- shown in images. The carpet in the room is so warn down that you don’t even want to step on. Carpet needs makeover as it’s reached well over the age and stretching might not work. I’m attaching pics as well. I avoided breakfast cuz they don’t believe in quality of the “EMBASSY”. They don’t know how potatoes should be made. Don’t try to pick up their room phones to dodge a complaint as they don’t work. Poor lighting in the room. I was on their so called “premiere” floor #6 LOL. This is the most Embassy EMBARRASSMENT and EMBRASSUNPLEASURE I ever experienced ever before. Even front desk staff were acknowledging. O’well Why charge so much for a shitty experience @Hilton Hotels????? LOL I see so many responses from the mgmt acknowledging the facts but I don’t think anyone actioning on fixing the issues as raised. I feel I’ve wasted my precious time even in rating this and the long feedback. I’m sure no one will ever act and take immediate action on this.

NillWe had a great stay. While the indoor areas could use some refreshing, we noticed that renovations were already underway during our visit, which is great to see. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and we really appreciated the evening reception.

NillDefinitely not worth $300 per night. Yes, $300. They nickel and dime you to death with BS fees; 20 parking fee? Give me a break! The room was maybe cheap motel worthy. The room gave me that 1980s vibe. Furniture had tears and wallpaper had gouges. I will definitely never stay in this place ever again.

NillThe good:The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, housekeeping was very responsive and did a good job. The made to order and the rest of the breakfast was excellent! The location was pretty good, and you can walk to the movies and some other shops. Not the Domain or Arboretum, though. The afternoon reception was good as well. The less good: 1)I asked in advance if the pool was big enough to do laps, and it really is not. I based my choice of staying there on that as well. In addition, the pool looked so nasty, I didn't even want to swim in it. I was told the "tile was old," but that didn't account for it. 2)Parking was $15 a night, as another person mentioned, and since I reserved by phone, I should have been told of that cost. 3)The swans were not there, and maybe that is a good thing, because what swan wants to be inside all day? 4)Whatever they were using to mop the entry area had a kind of bad odor. In fairness, I have a sensitive nose, and it was a pretty good price for an Embassy Suite.

★★The location was excellent. However the entire hotel shows clear signs of neglect. There is plastic covering a hole in the ceiling of the lobby. The carpet in the rooms was buckling/rippling in both rooms we stayed in (more on that in a bit). There were 2 instances where there were no face plates on cable outlets, the lamp shades were bent out of shape and dirty and there were hooks in the wall where there should have been pictures but the pictures were removed and the hooks just left behind. So we stayed there for a week and on the second night our AC started making weird noises, like a lawn mower engine, and wasn't blowing any air. I called down to the front desk and they sent up maintenance and the blower fan died. We were told there were no other rooms available that night and i had to insisted on having at least room fans because its Texas and the windows wont open. I was then told the best other they could do was a 30% discount for that one night. We then had to go back and forth about when we could move into a new room the next day. I also failed to mention that we have a 3 year old and a 15 month old baby. I was disappointed in the condition of the property. I will NEVER stay here again.

NillThis Embassy is due for a remodel inside the rooms. Rooms are circa 2010 or earlier Upgrade to USB plugs in the rooms. Overall a nice stop for a rest. Service was good- front desk agent was welcoming and helpful. One thing I do not like is at this location guests are required to pay for parking up to $21 per night depending on what kind of vehicle you have. Guests should never have to pay for parking especially Hiltons Honors guests. Overall a good place to sleep. Breakfast buffet was adequate. I’ve had better Embassy breakfast buffets.

NillStaff was all very kind and helpful. Rooms need a severe upgrade. Older style but quiet enough. The lobby was definitely upgraded. Safety was a priority, and I definitely felt safe. Would suggest Hilton to upgrade these rooms.

NillNot sure this hotel has been remodeled since it opened which might have been the 90s. Carpet is worn and stained. Furniture has to be 10 years old. In a non-premium location, but still charge $16 night for parking. They say $15, but there is a $1 service fee added on. AC controls take 5 presses to finally do something. Staff was nice and 2 free drinks at happy hour. The breakfast is good and they have someone making omelets. Tip: We realized after there are no visible "tow" signs. These are required by Texas law otherwise they can't tow. Don't pay for parking.
