NillA storm forced us to pull off for the night. Traveling with dogs the red roof inn was a stroke of good luck our room looked as if it had not been cleaned.

NillThis place exceeded my expectations. Rooms are nice. Furniture and decor is simple and tasteful. I appreciate the vinyl wood floors instead of carpet. Rooms felt and smelled very clean. The front desk attendants are very nice and helpful. Dogs are allowed,, and the pet relief area seemed very well maintained. Plenty of parking lit lighting The hotel is tucked behind an urgent care business on the street, so you just have to make sure not to miss it. Convenient with lots of stores and food across the street. If I ever have the need to stop over in the east Houston area, I will make sure to come here again. Pleasantly surprised, and a good value!

★AWFUL EXPERIENCE! No room key, neighbours having their own personal rap concerts in the hallway until 3am with no help from the front desk and no breakfast. We arrived at the hotel to check in and the front desk lady (who was lovely) said that the key card machine wasn’t working, which wouldn’t have been an issue, except she said her manager would have to come and fix it later and we heard her call them both (there’s only two) and they both told her that the other was working at that time? So we weren’t able to get a key card at all for our entire stay and had to get the front desk to let us in. We also had our neighbours blasting music and singing as if they were performing for a sold out stadium until gone 3am. We tried phoning the front desk on multiple numbers that were supplied to us as we had asked the neighbour to turn the music down but they hadn’t, but there was no answer from the hotel despite them supposedly being 24 hours. We ended up getting very little sleep and felt very uncomfortable all night. In the morning, we told the front desk and they just shrugged and did not care at all. The breakfast finished at 9am and we arrived at 8:15am and there was no breakfast there except for a pile of sausages with 45 mins still to go. There weren’t even any plates or cutlery available even if there was a breakfast available. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had due to poor management and a lack of accessibility or organisation. I would not recommend staying here. Things down.

NillWife and I got 2 rooms for a few days while we were going through the area. Rooms are updated and CLEAN. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Location is recessed off the strip, which is nice for noise and no random stuff happening. The grounds are well maintained. Will stay here again next time we come through.

★★★I scheduled a stay on the wrong date. The manager comped me $5. Not a big discount but every bit helps. The room was very clean though it had a strong bleach smell. Lots of contractors and their families staying in the hotel and talking outside our door til late and early next a.m.

NillThe only thing going for this place is the fact that it was clean. The room STINK!!! The next morning, as I got up to go to work, the floor was wet. The ac leaks, so now I know what the smell is. It's from the floors and walls being wet all the time. It's like a musty, mold smell. There are 2 of us staying here for work and I asked my co-worker if his room stinks and he said yes. Needless to say, our company is moving us and putting us into a nicer facility. In the room I have, both the sink and tub drain really slow, so the tub fills up even if you're not taking a bath. I will have to say, if you have sensitive allergies to mold, I would not stay here!!! The pictures show a small kitchenette in the rooms, that's a lie! They say they have breakfast, that's a lie!! They offer coffee and OJ. That's it!

NillBeware ! Mold on the mattress . Unfortunately we didn’t notice until the end of our stay , but we reported it to housekeeping and front desk! Housekeeping already knew about it and had mentioned that she has already told the owners but nothing is being done about it ! All front desk told me is that she would message the GM but nobody ever called me and now they are trying to deny that I made any report! I have the picture with a time stamp and location showing I was there when taking the picture ! Now the only want to offer me 30$ refund after being exposed to mold that i’m allergic too and i’m dealing with symptoms from it !

NillMy partner and I are moving across the country with two cats and decided to stay here on the first night. I have been wary of motels after staying at an awful motel 6 in Vicksburg but decided to give this place a shot because of good reviews and I'm glad I did. We arrived around midnight and the receptionist was pleasant and efficient. The room was recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. This was exactly what we needed at the end of a long, stressful day.
