Our view was great! We stayed on the 8th floor with ocean view. The room was cold and clean. For it being a Saturday we didn’t hear any crazy or loud sounds. Breakfast was great. Every staff member we came in contact with was very helpful. The pool (indoor/outdoor) was big and fun. It wasn’t too deep to where my younger children couldn’t be on their own. Parking got full quick but there was plenty of levels for everyone and they also had parking across the street if needed. The location is wonderful. I would stay again. I usually do when I stay in Corpus Christi.

I would have loved to give this hotel more stars but their service was sub par, even for a rewards member. Pros The room was big and clean! Lovely room! Half were clean, elevators worked great. Lobby was clean. Cons 1. Paid for a king suite, high floor, Bay view - got 4th floor right on top of the pool and was told "sorry, you showed up late so everyone else got priority over you" even though they had charged me for the room already. 2. Pool area plays some crazy tiki music ALL NIGHT LONG. After pool hours, it should have been shut off so people who are forced to have rooms right next to it can sleep. 3. Called the front desk TWICE to have extra coffee pods brought to the room. No one ever came. I chased down a nice gentleman in the hallway who went out of his way to go find coffee stuff for me when it wasn't even his job. His name was Dusty - nicest guy I ran into the whole time. 4. The night person at the front desk was zero help for anything and had the personality of dry toast. We were there for a wedding and were supposed to get gift bags - he had no clue what were talking about. Also asked him about getting my coffee and he told me to come downstairs in the morning, which I did not have time to do. He was very disinterested in helping me. 5. Zero instructions for room service. 6. Cannot chat with guest services in the hotel via their app like other big brands. 7. Very few available outlets in the sitting area and the one free one was broken. I didn't want to use it as it seemed an electrical hazard (it would push into the wall if you tried to plug something in) 8. Only one trash can and it was in the bathroom Dusty deserves huge kudos for being so helpful and going above and beyond. I would stay again if they up their customer service and fixed the issues I had. I'm not happy with how much I paid for what I got.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Corpus Christi was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the breakfast was a delicious way to start each day. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Corpus Christi. Also near the docks. Great idea for that morning walk under the sun.

So the girl at the front desk her name was Nova, she was the best part of the hotel. Very polite and extremely helpful. As for the hotel itself whoever the general manager is in charge of keeping up the hotel should be fired. The AC did not work and was leaking from the towels that was stuffed in the ceiling tiles. There was mildew in the walls and in the carpet. The patio doors are screwed shut due to falling pieces of concrete coming from the balcony floors above. Their breakfast was very very displeasing. Sausage and bacon were burnt and the coffee was cold!! You can look at the hotel and tell that they don’t fix their maintenance issues, all they are doing is band aiding them. This hotel should not be in buisness. It’s a well known franchise and should be better taken care of. I nor anyone I know or associate with will ever be stayin there again.

Room did not appear to be clean, toilet was very low to the ground. Towels were not clean. The neglect of the room seemed like it was due to be demolished the next day. Bed was comfortable. Bar service was poor. We were not acknowledged until the food menus was tossed our direction. We ate dinner at the Omni. Their service was great. I only stayed at this hotel because the Omni was booked for the conference that I attended.

Staff at front desk needs training. Property needs quiet a bit of money spent on routine maintenance. Food and beverage services are good. Didn’t have an upholstered chair in my room, other rooms do, I asked if I could have one and was met with a blank stare. Sitting on the bed all the time sucks.

I picked this hotel very last minute because of the location next to the marina. The staff were friendly at checkin and checkout. You can tell the place is older just because of some of the fixtures but still in pretty good shape. My only complaint was the bathroom was not cleaned properly and I did not notice that until early the next morning when I went to shower.

Hotel was nice and clean. We had a family trip to the beach for spring break. Sadly, the website said it was a heated indoor/outdoor pool. Upon calling the hotel and confirming, the receptionist also stated it was a heated pool. Others at the pool also mentioned they had the same conversations with staff. However, my kids stated the ocean water was warmer than the pool. The rooms were clean and had a good view of the bay (through dirty windows) but the shower made an obnoxious noise when running. It “screeched” and did not make for a relaxing or enjoyable wash.
