"We needed a hotel that was convenient to the downtown medical center and equipped with a kitchen setup, and this hotel delivered perfectly. Check-in was smooth, and our room exceeded expectations—it was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I especially appreciated being able to park our car where we could easily see it.||When my husband's surgery didn't go as planned, we had to extend our stay. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to remain in the same room for all five nights. Being on the third floor, dedicated to multiple-night visitors, was an added bonus. It was such a relief not to have to switch rooms during such a stressful time.||Overall, this hotel provided everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!" A big thank you to the manager!

Not bad location, Just OK. Seems like a 2 start hotel. Issues with the room, but most minor: TV in living room area did not function, kitchen cabinets loose, toilet paper holder loose, dust around light fixtures, paint and silicone could be cleaned up, and the room smelled a little bit musty. Addressed to the front desk before I left. They wrote it down and semi address it, someone came to the room when I wasn't there and they didn't let me know they entered. Which I didn't care if they came to fix the issues, I just wished they would have let me know they were coming since I was a way at the time, while I have sensitive things out and need to be present when entering since I am a government agent. Not a problem, just more of a respect/courtesy is all. I travel for a living and have stayed around 60 locations in different cities last year. For a hotel that has been remolded last year, it seems some items still need to be PM'd (preventative maintenance)/cleaned up. Hiring enough staff including a good Chief Engineer with an assistant would fix this problem fairly quickly (I've built and run hotels in the past before so I know what it is to run a 5 star luxury resort and minor motels). Anyways just more minor things that can be fixed and correctly. Just two more things that would help, if the hotel staff can have uniforms on including shirts (polo) with hotel brand/logo with black/beige pants clean, that would make a major difference in appearance. And last but not least please have the coolers fully stocked and cold, it would go a long way in the Sundries area (including having Stevia sugar or diabetic options like sugar free options (coke zero, zero sugar gummies, maybe milk) would help a great deal! Hope this helps moving forward!

Deer park Candlewood Suites is was super nice, the staff was uber nice, they even helped me surprised my 8 year old son with his Easter Basket. He was delighted that the Easter bunny came to the hotel to bring him a personalized Easter basket. I just really appreciate both the Sunday morning staff for helping me out with the surprise.

This hotel is just our style. Great thought was put into the design and we can prepare our food, have easy access, and it is the best layout we've found. The AC was very easy to set - the TV worked well. The coffee pot was quick and convenient. The pantry was spacious and we loved having a recliner and a dish washer. Ya'll have thought of everything. Thanks

The staff was extremely nice even when I talked to then for a long time. Thank you Kenzie for trying to make sense of my Louisiana accent. I love this place , always clean and welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable. I like the fact I can make my own food in the fully equipped kitchen instead of going out constantly. Thank you Ms Tonya you rock!

The whole experience was awesome. Every employee we came in contact with said hi and was friendly. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. We will be back.

We spent 24 nights in 2024 at Candlewood Deer Park - no complaints - Seriously! Tonya (GM) and the staff Mackenzie, Matthew, et al are attentive and helpful. The hotel rooms are clean, location safe, and conveniently located to shopping & dining areas. EXCELLENT! We look forward to staying again.

Got to my room late in the evening and everything seemed to be pretty good, until I woke around 4:30am to my wife yelling that there was a roach in the bathroom. I got up and looked around and saw a smaller roach on the kitchen counter as well as in the sink. We checked out after only being in the room for 5-6 hours. The GM gave my wife the run around when we called trying to get a refund. Would not recommend this place at all….
