Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Duncanville

Stayed two nights. When we got to the hotel the experience was amazing. The presentation of lobby and staff was great. We got to 3rd floor and noticed a pot smell but got to our room. Got good rest that night. The next night was the problem. Couldn’t sleep due to the strong smell in room. I didn’t want to cause problems but had to say something to front desk, their response was they would spray the hallways but even with that it didn’t help. After another long day working we should have stayed another night but would not go back to this location. I feel this could have been handled better and if smoking was truly not allowed, it should have been monitored.

Booked a week stay checked out after 1 night. Drove from Houston arrived at the hotel at 1pm front desk super rude and told me checkin time was 3pm. l and would not check me in. I’m here on business and need a work space so I set up shop in their lobby. Room was terrible. Got a view of a wall, air conditioner/ heater made a terrible noise all night, keeping me up. Stains on carpet missing temp regulator in the mini refrigerator. Asked if they had a business center and the rude manager dude said all we have a printer to hook a computer up too. I’m a Marriott ambassador elite member. My colleagues all stay in Hilton so I figured I would try to do the same thing but now I remember why I do not stay with Hilton. Just checked out and headed over to Marriott.

Digital key wouldn’t work for side doors which is incredibly annoying as someone who will book end of hall rooms to be closer to the stairs. So as I have all my stuff in my hands I have to walk around to the main entrance. I told the front desk about the issue and she kinda just scoffed and said yea that happens. Ok? So fix it, or at least send a message in the app. Soft lighting in the rooms made them cozier but looking a little closer tells you they need some TLC. No diamond member treat, just two $.20 waters for all membership levels.

Came for a basketball tournament. Our first room the toilet didn’t work but the staff was amazing and got us taken care of fast. The switched our rooms in a heart beat and were very nice! Would definitely come back!

I am severly disabled. I found the rooms quite spacious if I used a wheelchair the room was very wide with lots of room between beds. The shower stall was wide with a drop down seat. Hand held shower head. Toilet adequate height if standing from low places is struggle and 2 extended rails to help with standing from toilet. Not a 1 foot bar as some places offer. Lots of space for clothing and other amenities as they listed. My only complaint would be the bed was a little low for me as I have problems standing from low places, but it was manageable. I found the staff quite helpful. But you should offer concierge service for the elderly and disabled with luggage transport. I asked the front desk clerk for assistance when I got there and she said we don't offer that service and made no attempt to think outside the box to help a guest on a walker. But a young lady who worked in the bar was there and more than happy to help and refused my tip. The next mornings front desk clerk said she was alone but asked housekeeping to help me. And the ladies that showed up to help were so sweet and kind. I have to mention the night clerk who was kind enough to bring ne eating utensils and 2 bottles of cold water at 3am when I reslized my takeout included no utensils. The location was close to all my New Years Eve events and close to the freeway. There was food and drinks at the front desk. My only and biggest complaint is the location of the handicap parking spaces. They were too far away from the building. Considering there was plenty of regular parking directly across from the front door. Easy access is important when walking impairments are present. I'm glad it wasn't raining when I got back as I had quite a distance to get to the building and inside the building walking in the cold on a walker. . Great stay overall and worth it except for parking.

I highly recommend this establishment! The service is par excellence! The rooms are clean the whole place is clean! I have nothing negative to say at all! This is a reason I am a repeat customer. I also recommend the breakfast package!!! Though I have never tried using their venie, I would suggest it. The hotel experience was wonderful!

Everything was great from the check in to checking out. The staff exemplified excellence and professionalism. We enjoyed our stay so much that when we got home and stuff got on our nerves we called out our room number 429. We want to come back and we will be back!

The location of the hotel was easy to get to. We didn't have to many issues with the place except the elevators and breakfast. The elevators made so much noise like it was malfunctioning. Hearing these things is pretty terrifying when your on the 4th floor. Also when we went down for breakfast,they were charging almost 17$ per plate. And when we asked about the free breakfast,she hesitated to tell us about it. So we ate somewhere else. Our experience wasn't horrible,but get the elevators fixed before it hurts someone.
