Americas Hotel El Paso Medical Center

I had to get dental work done in Juarez, Mexico (which consisted of 4 trips in all, ranging from 6 days to just overnight) and this hotel was PERFECT!! And, let me tell you, the staff went over & above in helping us. For example, we arrived here @11:30 a.m. to wait for the dental clinic transportation at 1. When I went into the Lobby, I asked the receptionist if there was any way to check in early (I assumed it would be 'no' and was prepared to let them know that our truck would be sitting in their parking lot). But to our great surprise, she said, "Oh no! If I have a room ready, you can check-in now!" And we did! It is extremely clean, spacious with all the extras you expect in a hotel. If you are one of those who want to be able to check on your vehicle periodically (in the front parking lot), then get a room on the 3rd floor, North side - good view of that entire parking lot. (There is parking elsewhere but the front parking lot is the most convenient AND you can see your car that way.) Be aware that entering & exiting the hotel can be tricky; sometimes you won't be able to get into the correct lane for turning right away. And I don't wanna even THINK about how hard it would be in a huge R.V. or pulling a trailer!! As far as the breakfast, it's not spectacular but it's good & simple - especially if y'all are just wanting to grab some juice, coffee and some yogurt or muffins on your way out the door, it's perfectly fine. Overall, this is a really good place to stay. Not fancy, but worked great for us!! Good luck in your travels, y'all!! 😄

I can’t even put it as a 1 this Rick who is the GM please contact me we didn’t stay there after a long 15 hour drive we had reservations threw an app and once we got there the front desk tenant had no name tag on and asked for id and form of payment we gave her the a new real id driver’s license then she asked for payment and we were trying to clarify because we thought we get charged threw the app so when we went to check our phone we asked for our id back and then said ok and gave her our military id and she asked for payment again then said they can’t take military id . I don’t know of any business that doesn’t accept a federal id just a state one then she was extremely rude and so we asked local law enforcement to come because we don’t want to be charged for anything and they came and coped an attitude with the local pd and said that they didn’t have to show us the police and obviously looking at these complaints the staff is unacceptable for someone that works in healthcare and also military service it’s unexpected right outside a military base. They have the right to refuse but all we were tying to do is see a policy to understand why they won’t accept the military id. I will also be complaining to corporate will never stay there.

I had to pick the closest spot to the hospital, and it was so close I could walk :) and leaving town was fast and easy. Rooms were nice. However, things are very very loud. I could hear people walking and talking upstairs and outside our door. Doors also slam hard and loud. I could see my vehicle from my room so I felt safe. Staff was nice and courteous. Handled my care very well. Thank you. :)

The rooms were very spacious, especially the bathroom and the staff were very friendly but the elevator broke down and our keys stopped working so we had to get a new key twice, but that was our fault . Couldn't see out the windows either, and the toilet paper was super thin.

Hotel is comfortable and clean. Staff was nice and it was decorated quaintly. Complainants were: location is right next to I-10 so very hard to get in and out of parking lot and the continental breakfast was a joke. Small wrapped pastry, apple and yogurt. That's it. Of course orange juice, apple juice and coffee. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

The location was amazing. The walls are to thin you can hear everything in the room next door you can hear people walking up the stairs. I was charged an extra night because i was 10mins past the checkout time! But yet they picked their ass to help me. The manager on staff was rude. Don't stay here if you have an option

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful service. Large rooms. Refrigerator and microwave in each room. Abundant parking. Perfect rest stop on roadtrip to California
