We stopped by for night on a road trip. The room was fine, minus a few cosmetic issues. There were no towels in the bathroom, but we thought nothing of it at the time. Unfortunately, after charged $100 for missing towels. This was not communicated to us nor were any attempts made to rectify the situation. Once we noticed the charge, we called the hotel who were uncooperative and basically assumed we had stolen the towels even though this was not the case. This is the first time something like this has happened to us ever staying at a hotel.

I pick hiltons because the rooms are normally good and they have pelotons. This hotel’s bike doesn’t work and could probably be fixed with a factory reset. I talked to them last night about it hoping they’d have it fixed in the morning, but there was no change. I talked to them this morning about it and they didn’t do anything to help troubleshoot. I still have a few more days here… I really want to use the bike to work out. The workout room is small and only has weights, bike, treadmill and elliptical. If 33% of the cardio machines are broken then this is a problem that should be addressed. (Outside cardio isn’t an option since this is right next to the interstate and I’m unfamiliar with the area. If they’re able to fix the problems with the bike in time for me to use it, I’ll change my rating, but I find this frustrating since my fitness is important to me.

The property seemed fine, very normal for a newish Hampton Inn. Rooms were clean and and fairly good repair, though showed some signs of use. Unfortunately, I failed to notice the missing alarm clock in my room when I checked-in. When I checked-out, I was charged $50 for "missing clock". When I called the hotel and reported that it was never there, they accused me of theft. I had to get Hilton corporate customer service involved to get the charge reversed. I stay in dozens of hotel rooms a year, and I have for decades. This is the first time I have ever been treated in this manner. I would avoid this property, or if you're absolutely desperate, scrutinize the room the moment you check-in and report absolutely anything that is amiss.

Quality you can expect from a Hilton Brand. Clean, convenient, and quiet. There was about 20 Texas State troopers staying there as well, so we felt pretty secure.

Enjoyed our short stay. Tired when we arrived after a long drive. Pushed to get closer to home. Greeted at desk and was quickly on the way to our room. Room was clean and cool and the bed was comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful building with 100 per cent of the amenities we expected. Plus there were lots of special touches. There were special lamp decorations in the breakfast room. The waffle iron made waffles shaped like the state of Texas. We were pleased with a complimentary bottle of mouthwash in the bathroom.

Was very happy with this hotel! The stay was made special with little subtleties like fresh cut strawberries on the breakfast bar, the State of TX cut waffle maker, free feminine products in the lobby restroom and happy bags to go with water and snacks. The small things matter even more than the big things sometimes—it shows they care. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly!
