TownePlace Suites Houston Galleria Area

My family always reaches for TownePlace Suites when we travel. This one did not disappoint. It's clean, convenient, and well-priced. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Tip 1: The hotel does have a small outdoor pool, even though the Web site doesn't state this. Tip 2: Do mind the breakfast end times -- the hotel starts disassembling breakfast very quickly after the end time. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Houston again.

We stayed in their two bedroom suite. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was decent but the selection is limited. Also loved the location near stores, parks, and the mall.

Give this TownePlace Suites a pass. It is outdated and banged up, and everything is just a little dingy and depressing. The staff I interacted with during my stay were not very pleasant and oddly inflexible about a few things I've never experienced in a hotel. There is nothing terrible about this hotel, but you can do much better for the price.

I’ve stayed in hotels that cost much more money than this one and I must say the service can be far worse than if you stay at a spot like this where it’s half the price. This hotel is a great short stay if you have a family , are a veteran and if you love pets.❤️ 🐕🐕 My wife and 3 boys stayed here for a total of four days and everyday the front desk clerks greeted us with warm smiles and were very professional. Simone was superstar and Crystal was a shining light. Jose was all about his business. What a great team of leaders here. Thank you for an amazing stay.

This old Marriott has carpet tears, stains, and room freshener to cover its years of use. It is next to a highway and in a Walmart parking lot, so consider that for what it's worth. The front desk staff seemed oddly combative and unfriendly. Maybe they don't like it there either? I suggest going elsewhere, which is up to Marriott's typical standards.

We stayed over the weekend in two rooms and were unpleasantly surprised to find curly hair in multiple 'clean' towels in both rooms. It was extremely off-putting. Having traveled to many countries, I did not expect to encounter this in a hotel in Houston.

Stayed here for 2mons on business and was very skeptical after reading the reviews but I am glad I gave it a chance. Staff was exceptionally nice, breakfast is hot and fresh. Room was clean and comfy. It is not a fancy Marriott so I probably wouldn’t stay here for pleasure but it definitely works for business.

The room was ok for the price. The parking lot is not watched by security and there is no video surveillance. My truck was broken into (busted out the passenger window) while parked directly in front of the reception desk. There is a homeless camp set up in the hotel parking lot... DO NOT WALK OUTSIDE ALONE AT NIGHT. I'm a long time Marriott guy but I will not be coming back here any time soon... oh, you can forget about the hotel employees assisting you in any way. They quickly let me know that they are not responsible and there is nothing they can do🙄.
