DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport

Overall, it was a pretty good experience staying for 3 nights. Sheets are a bit lower quality and rough, but clean. There is no microwave in the room, so plan to have cold or room temp snacks / on-the-go meals if you are planning for a cheap trip. Breakfast is NOT included in the room price. But everyone was nice, and the room service was excellent. Nice for a business trip.

Even though this property was under construction in the main lobby area, the team remain extremely professional and courteous at all times. Public areas were clean. Had a request for extra items in the room that was resolved very quickly and efficiently. It is right next to hobby Airport and the runway so if you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend but I had a great view to see planes, landing, and taking off.

We really enjoyed our stay at this DoubleTree. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Every person we dealt with was friendly from the front desk to the wait staff (especially Armando and Kerry, the best bartender). The restaurant was good, the bar was fun, and the pool was relaxing. If we come back to Houston, I'd stay here again.

The SERVICE makes this place stand out! Jesus is beyond helpful, so friendly, so kind. All of the staff makes you feel welcome and like they are happy you are there. Every hotel should be this way. I travel for work and I spend time in hotels all over the country multiple times a week. The staff at this hotel should all be promoted. I left something valuable there and they kept it for me. I called and they were so nice. Jesus was so attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel just because the people are so great.

While the location is under construction and the rooms are slightly outdated.. the service is amazing and front desk was super friendly. The restaurant team of Armando and Jesus gave 5-star level of service. Would consider staying again for that experience alone.

This hotel is outdated and there was construction going on in the first floor area. Though it is outdated, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front staff were welcoming and very helpful when we encountered an issue and had to switch rooms. The cookies they gave out was also delicious! Breakfast was a disappointment. Both my husband and I had upsets stomachs from what we ate. Buffet was not available so we ordered from the menu.

The room was dirty with smudges over the dressers, uncleared items around the bed frame, open ceiling panels in the bathroom, stains all over the curtains and the room smelled like febreeze. We arrived with our kids prior to a cruise and were hoping to order room service, but after attempting to call 5 times with no answer we gave up. There was no buffet breakfast as expected, only a lack luster continental breakfast for $15. So we ordered off the menu, and the only good thing about the hotel was the restaurant wait staff. You should also change your website to inform people they need to call for a shuttle pick up at the airport. It states it runs every 15 min, however after waiting for 30 minutes we called and were informed we had to call. I will advise any patron to avoid the hotel and would expect a more up to date website with correct information. Complete waste of money and time.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and the construction was supposed to be complete as it said online but it’s not. Half the hotel is closed down and the restaurant is too. Rooms are old and small. This whole hotel should be knocked down and rebuilt. Even though it’s convenient to the airport I will not stay here again. I didn’t sleep well and it was very uncomfortable. Although management reached out to me they provided nothing but were sorry for your experience and that’s it!!
