Home2 Suites by Hilton La Porte

The hotel is very safe, clean and the staff including Anette, Ashlee, Elissa, Esther, Kim, Mackenzie, Michelle and Adryan are great! They are always very friendly and helpful. The hotel can be packed and the staff are still just as accommodating. And of course, there is Ronda who keeps the breakfast bar clean and is willing to share a laugh at 6 AM! I recommend the Home2 chain to all my friends and work colleagues, and especially recommend the Home2 in La Porte, TX. Thank you Home2 - La Porte staff!!!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here as a spur of the moment kind of thing, so we had to check in late, but the lady at the front desk, Ashlee, made it super easy and quick to check in and get us into our rooms and answered any questions or concerns we had. Breakfast in the morning was super convenient to grab a quick bite before you leave. Would love to stay here again when I visit!!

I have never previously stayed at a Home2 Suites by Hilton and I have to say...I was pleasantly surprised. I reserved a king suite and the room was well appointed with fridge, microwave and pull-out table that I used as a desk. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. I never felt enclosed. The property personnel were personable and welcoming. Also, this particular property appears to have been recently updated; very pleasing on the eyes. I stayed at the property for five days and didn’t experience anything that would make me say ‘…I’ll never do this again’. For a frequent traveler, the location of the property was good with a grocery store (Kroger), fast food, and Starbucks just up the street (less than 5 min away). If needed, Walmart was about 11-15 minutes away. If there was one thing I would ‘complain’ about it would be…they must have a parking spot for every disabled person in La Porte TX and zero for Diamond members. Where is the balance LOL! If I ever find myself in La Porte TX again, I’ll definitely stay at this property and as I continue my travels, I look forward to my next stay at a Home2 Suites by Hilton.

Our room was very clean, the employees were nice, and overall we had an excellent experience. The only negative was that the omelets and egg sandwich options were cold at breakfast - even when they had just put out new ones. Otherwise, the options for breakfast were good. We would stay again in the future.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. We loved the small integrated kitchen. We traveled with 4 kids, and it was just perfect. Breakfast was decent, and even though it was a little crowded, the staff managed to keep all the food choices available. Overall, great amenities are offered. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The hotel is decent but unfortunately mildew or mold has hit the property. My room smelled pretty bad but my room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. If you try the hotels next door you will pretty much get the same result. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Loved our stay. The rooms are nice I have no complaints at all. The pool Is a little small...the day we stayed a family of about 10 was in the pool and basically took it all up so we didn't even swim. It was definitely crowded .but the pool is not a deal breaker. The hotel is in a super safe area away from the hustle of the city but still plenty of choices around to eat and do.

Pleasantly surprised! Great customer service. I love the layout of the room. It’s extremely thoughtful and a highly efficient use of space. Very clean and I can tell that the staff pays attention to detail. The only thing I’d recommend is not having almost 10, (yes 10!) vividly different patterns with such drastically different colors in such a small space. The color scheme could also be anxiety inducing for some.
